Hello everyone I am new here but have been reading the forum for a few days now and decided to sign up as it seems like it is just the forum that I didn't even think I was looking for.(I hope that makes sense ) I won't go into too many details on how I got here but here is sort of a short version before I get to the point.

My friend got a fake rolex from china and i was really impressed by how good the quality was. I then started researching those watches on the forums and came across rep accessories. Found couple suppliers and the next big idea hit me. I wanted to pass reps as gens on eBay and bank on the profits, but in the back of my head i knew it wasn't that easy.

I decided to give it a go anyway and ordered a faux lv wallet from a trusted supplier on one of the forums and when it came i was pretty disappointed with the quality but I know that there are much better version out there and that it could work if i find the right ones. I started doing more research and came across this forum and read up on quiet a few threads. I now changed my perspective and would rather stay in the "grey market" at most an avoid getting my valuable eBay account banned. Let alone risking it and never knowing if you get the knock on the door that you never want to get and the general idea is kind of messed as people paying high dollar and receiving replicas is just pretty unethical.

    - Continued as it would not let me post the whole thing because I was triggering the spam filter :/

Moving on, the summer is coming and my uni is almost done, so it's time to make some cash. I am not new to ebay and been using it since 2006 but mostly pretty small scale and about half of my feedback is from buying stuff. As of now I have 100 items or 26k per month with no 21 day paypal hold. I never realized how strict eBay can be for the newer accounts and the amounts of problems some of you guys have with it. I want to give eBay a shot and see how it goes, especially since I have a "goldmine" account.

I have few other sources of income so this would be just another venture for me. I am looking for ideas or possibly even a partner if the right person comes along. I have capital, but for starters, just to get my feet wet I don't wanna go over 1k. On another note, with the amount of scammers and unethical people(yes I know I am contradicting myself) online I will need a lot proof and evidence that the proposition is legit from a potential partner. If no one is interested, that's ok, in all my other ventures i work solo anyway.

Here is some questions I have for you guys 1. Is eBay still profitable for the smaller fish? I am not looking to sells thousands of items with tiny profits. That is very time consuming and I simply can not spend the whole day just on eBay, I have other things to run as well. Next, how do you guys find good suppliers? I know of aliexpress, alibaba, dhgate etc but some time ago i tried to do this and it seemed like most of it was spam and i just kind of moved on. I know that there are good suppliers out there, but no idea how to find them. I am kind of interested in the clothing niche, the grey area one(lacoste, diesel, nike, a &e etc), but I am open to others as well. I have a good strategy to for black market brands and I am 99% sure it would work but I don't want to risk the account. Say if i could push couple high end purses a month and make around 3k that would be ideal and would cover my car and rent. But like i said the grey market stuff is what I am really interested in. I am open to suggestion and proportions.

I tried to post screenshots of my eBay account but it will not let me as I am new here, but I am also willing to Skype and discuss potential in making some money on eBay.

Thank you and I am looking forward to good answers and suggestions

I broke it up into "paragraphs" best I could. It didn't look that clustered on my monitor so I didn't think you guys would mind.

edit: also i had to edit the text about 15 times before it would let me post the thread, so sorry if some of it is worded funny or doesn't make sense. I use about 5 different forums and this is the first time I had to edit the text because it was "scammy" lol

I also said that I was open to other suggestions as well. I just want to see what option I have to put my account in good use and turn decent profit.

I think your train of thought is good. I like how you started with rep rolex idea and then realized that is too risky... and I agree.
Be careful on this site... or any site, your post will bring some shady folks to you. . lol

well i wasn't gonna pass rep rolex as gen that's just stupid lol. any halfwitted joe schmo would take a watch they bought on eBay to a legit watch dealer and have it authenticated. I was leaning towards good reps of designer stuff(purses, wallets, belts etc) Because the designer stores will not authenticate something if you just bring to the store. And their SA's will give only give you their opinion if you are lucky. Of course there are always holes in the system but I won't get into the details.'

edit. will reply to PM's soon
