Hello Everyone,

I read a couple books about IG and a while Ago (Almost a year) I started this instagram account with fortnite content, now the profile has 30k followers.

What do you guys recommend me to gain some money of this account

I'll be glad to hear some advice.

Thanks in advance

Is this a real following? In other words, do the followers engage with your content?

If so have you thought about doing paid shoutouts? Many people who are trying to grow their own followings pay for that.

You can create an account with Epic Games and apply for support a creator, sell gaming gear or you can offer shoutouts.

Fortnite has a support a creator program where you can earn money for every time a user spends their v-bucks.

Has anyone ever sent a DM asking for a shoutout?
Try cross-promotion from pages sized similar to that of yours and get to 50k, it's a point where most people ought to get shoutout requests. Or sell affiliate merchandises related to fortnite (if you've high engagement on stories)

Yeah, its all original. many followers ask for shoutouts but my audience is mostly kids (15 years old) so when they hear 10$ they just stop asking...

BTW is 10$ ok? or is too much?

I heard theres some sort of market place for shoutouts can you recommend me one? maybe there 10$ is not that scary

I mean you can play the game and go live on twitch. Do a quick give away for followers and you can probably also go a Twitter as well

interesting, but my profile doesnt have a "face"... its just replays and stuff I think you need this "face" to ask properly to your audience to input your creator code, I'll give it a try though-

About the gaming gear I created profile for dropshipping, back on those days aliexpress had A LOT of products related to fornite A LOT! but now almost a year later I checked and maybe the fortnite people put some restriction on it, because there's nothing there.
Everything I know about dropshipping is with aliexpress maybe I need to read more about dropshipping with ebay or amazon.

Price is relative to the results you can give someone. If it seems like no one is paying the $10, which in my opinion is reasonable, bring it down to $5. Your following is big compared to those starting out, but its not huge.

Obviously $5 a shoutout is not going to make you rich, but it gets the ball rolling. And when you can prove results you can increase your prices.
Also when your site grows naturally people will be willing to pay more because it will be faster results.

I would definitely try the marketplace for shutouts. Those marketplaces depend on whether your target market is on the marketplace. Maybe run a Fiverr gig? Although I've had a hit or miss experience on Fiverr. The easiest way is to just promote it in your bio. Just put $5 per shoutout. Give them the price upfront, and see if that works.

Bring it down for now.

Here is another idea. Create a website. Create a blog. Or simply create a my recommendations section. And promote affiliate programs. Or add ads to the website. Give people a reason to go the website. Get them on your email list if possible.

People who play Fortnite definately like video games. So you can provide sponsored ads on your website, or via email, or through shoutouts without being spammy.

Think of pewdiepie. He makes sponsored videos all the time from related things. Like computers, video games, gear, etc.

It's a work in process, but most businesses are.
