I grew a good userbase of more than 150k people, most are from spanish speaking countries, so the CPM is very low. It's frustrating to get 1+ million views a month and make less than 400 USD.

The question now is: Can I reach USA audience? My niche is your usual kids/gaming niche with some random adults that like my stuff too. With this same volume of traffic, if it was from USA, I would be able to quit my job.

I have ideas to try to tap on the USA demographic, my fear is that now I am stuck with mostly spanish speakers because once I upload a video, my subscribers will watch it and they will rank it on Spanish Youtube and lower my chances to rank good in USA Youtube. You know what I mean?

Does this matter, or what matters is keywords and language of the video? My videos don't have text so they can potentially reach every country in the world, and the little text that is there I translate it so it's not a problem.

Again I just fear that im now stuck in this spanish-speaker demographic due my core fanbase being from those countries.

What are the variables that make a video rank in a certain place? Does stuff like the IP you upload the video from matter when trying to rank the video? I need to know all the data to try to rank a video I will make with a tittle and keywords that are relevant for USA demographic, but again I fear it will be a failure and never will rank due big amount of traffic from my subscribers viewing it seconds later and not allowing to make it go global.

I want to reach a global audience. How can I do this? Again my videos have no text so dont tell me shit like "just translate the videos bro", please read the thread before replying. And no im not posting my channel so please dont ask for it.

I don't think IP location matters. I don't even think the source of your traffic matters. Most views that people purchase come from all over the world. I think what matters is the language in which you write your title, description, and tags.

What you should do is a test; on your next video, make it in English. English everything. Then upload and wait for YT analytics to update. The initial push of visitors will most likely be from Spanish speaking countries though, as your subscribers will be the first to click on it. But what you want to check is after that initial push -- see if the US shows up.

like the other guy said, english. And you could buy HR US only views to rank it in the USA ;)
I was thinking of figuring how to do the same, since only 20-30% of my audience is in the US / UK or Canada. Revenue for anywhere else is non existent
Let us know if it works

Im not buying any views. This is a whitehat channel with original content I work hard at and i dont want to fuck up.

Indeed, the initial push will be from my subs, but the question is.. will this initial push of spanish viewers push my video to spanish Youtube?

And I have all of my videos translated. My question is: Does the translation of the title become searchable, or only the original title can be searched? (I hope you know what I mean)

The thing is, the title of the video that made me viral contains the name of a person that is huge in mexico and all those countries, this is why I started gaining all those subs.

The idea here would to make a similar video with a name that is huge in USA and globally and hope it goes viral and I start gaining USA subs from there...

I will try to put the original title in english on the next video, the problem is this video has some text and its in spanish... so I think I cant. I will have to try in future videos. There's also the "language" setting in the video settings, I wonder if that is relevant.

There are some other countries, mostly north european. I think Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Finland... all those countries have good rates. Japan also has great rates, the problem is getting a video to go viral in japan.. hard job.

Honeslty im sick of this bullshit. With my views I could be living a comfortable life if I had USA traffic, but im stuck with mexican views. Can you fucking believe it?

If im not able to start growing my channel and start getting more USA clicks i'll blow my brains with a shotgun ro something. I mean there's no way im creating a channel from scratch, so I just hope my current fanbase doesn't ruin my possibilities to expand in future videos.

Does the country you selected when signing up for an Adsense account matter? or do ads automatically show in whatever language the viewer is viewing the video?

FUUUUUCk im so mad right now. I want my views to be in fucking english, and i'll be making 2k a month.

Does YouTube ban accounts for bought views these days? It's my understanding that in the unlikely event they ping you for bought views, they simply delete the video.

I dont think they ever did banning for this. Instead views could be deleted and rank lowered to practically nothing.
A worse thing than ban is getting your adsense disabled

    Home Page:
Translations are searchable and it's certainly something you could invest in.

However, you will probably find that US rates are not that much higher. Your real challenge is that kids content has lower rates, and your earnings sound pretty typical.

My advice would be to grow your channel, invest in translations, and open one or two secondary channels in the same niche.
