I have a laser targeted email list of roughly 8,000 people in the Soccer niche, all confined to a relatively small middle/upper class area (active emails of people who signed up for an indoor league in the past 5 years.) I have cpa accounts with 2 different agencies, but have zero experience in mass emailing or an endeavor of this sort. This list has never been used outside of it's original purpose (to let them know if a game had been cancelled or time changed.) I have no current way of making money off of this b/c I'm more of a designer than anything else. If you have a plan or the ability to capitalize off of this send me a PM and we can discuss it further! I believe there is great potential for some decent money here, I just can't find it.

I think you're overreacting with that list. 8K people signed to play football (you call it soccer), that doesn't mean they're gonna buy soccer balls

No, probobly not balls, but they are all in a confined 12-20 mile city area and are sports fans. 70% males, Some probably gamblers. Half are parents signing kids up for camps etc. and it hasn't been spammed by countless other people. I don't think that's something to write off.

I have 100K FB page, targeted, an I think it's not a big deal. Mostly over 20 y.o., mostly females and I know what they like....
People on your list are parents signin up kids for soccer, how is that targeted?

Maybe you can ask your CPA manager for some tips. He will probably give you some good pointers.

Yea, they are parents with kids involved in soccer. All actual people, that spend money on their children's development. How is that not a target market? There might be an offer for a kids book about soccer or something, just looking for ideas and options. I read posts about lists here all the time, one guy made 4k on a list of 200... I'm looking for guidance rather than discouragement.

I would make a soccer betting site, or maybe find a cpa ad that is about soccer.

Find a sport shop near your area and make a deal with them to give you a special coupon that you can email it to your list. Of every coupon cashed in the shop you can arrange a small fee to be payed to you. It cant get more targeted than that.

The problem with setting up a site in the soccer niche is that all you know about your list is that their kids like the sport - that doesn't necessarily mean that they do too.

Out of 8k you're bound to have a good few of those pushy parents - you know the type, the ones who regiment what should be a fun activity for a kid in order to make up for their own failures or something. You could try pushing the angle of 'your kid needs this to be the best', with some sort of sports psychology or 'how to be a winner' self-help book.

The local sports shop voucher is a great idea too.
