I have 2 x "Order form submit" but no money made in CB?

Hey guys,

I usually log on once per day onto my CB account to check how things are going. I am very new to all of this, and I have not had too much time to invest into it yet.

I made one sale which paid me about $20.03 a couple of weeks ago. Today, I logged on and on the main page it still shows account balance as $20.03 so I did not worry too much about it. I clicked the analysis section which shows how many hops, order form impressions etc etc.

I noticed I had 2 x order form submits for 2 different items. I do not see any commission made for any of them? I am not sure what it happening... can someone explain?

That is completely fine with CB. It happens all the time.

Some orders are not completed due to CC decline or maybe for some other reason, but they'll still show up in the analytics, as they were submitted for processing.

This is very normal - some people just go to the order page to see how much it is. Some will change their mind after going to the order page and then finding an interface that doesn't look too trustworthy.

If you have noticed, Clickbank order forms have the verisign symbol only after you scroll down a little bit. I have no idea why they can't display that prominently in the order form.

Anyways, your issue is fairly common.

Damn, I was excited to see that I had 2 order form submissions... how can they 'submit' though if their CC info is wrong etc? Shouldn't CB try and fix issues like that, or is it because perhaps they had no funds in their account or something? Either way, it seems I missed out on two sales (which is huge for me!! as i've only made one!)

Try this for yourself.

Use your affiliate links to go to order page and then submit the order form using a fake CC #. You'll see that later in analytics under "Order submit count" - 1 Sales - 0 onder:

You will be amazed how many ignorant people type in random numbers in the fields hoping that a purchase will go through!!! but OP - You can try the method suggested by BigFatWallet - just fill all the fields and hit submit - your transaction will fail but it will later show up as an order form submit.
