    Hi guys.

    I am new to this.

I am currently in china and i saved up 1500USD.

I was researching stuff online and seeing what can I buy in China and resell them on ebay.

I was thinking high quality anime toys (mario, naruto, dragon ball)..

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Danny

Knockoffs always go. Purses, handbags, watches, etc. But I would go for tech products such as the fake iPhones.
Be sure that you always tell on your ebay ad that you're selling not an original and then u should be fine.

One of the ways people make nice money is to look for misspellings of product names. Many times you can buy a product, say, like a Nikon camera, for half price cause some dummies can't spell. (Nickon, Nikkon etc) Hence people don't find their wares for sale and the bids stay very low. You come in and buy them cheap and as soon as they arrive don't even unpackage them, just ship them to your buyer!

    This can be very lucrative...

    Good luck :)

Regarding dadheres message: Typohound dot com, auctionbloppers, typozay etc are good ebay search engines that search for mis-spellings in ebay auctions titles. Ive bought a lot of cheap tools this way.

I won't sell anything fake on ebay. In the end it will break or they will pull your auction. To much work for little pay.

Goods without branding will sell better & you wont have the hassle of ebay up your ass all the time. I have a huge list of suppliers which are reliable and fairly cheap, selling it for 9.99£ drop me a pm if your interested.

It's true. It's just too much work for little pay and plus there's high competition out there so it won't be an easy money maker and plus most people are starting to think before they actually buy fake things. For example me, I have never bought and never will buy anything fake. Fake iPods, phones and all that other bullshit is just stupid, not only that it breaks easily but its rubish. I just don't understand how stupid some people are to buy these fake things when they really are crap.

You can always buy new iphones, jailbreak them, then turn around and resell them for more. Just don't get busted doing it!

i would agree with the iphone comment, I but iphones off of craigslist all over ny, never for more than 200usd, clean them up jailbreak and unlock with ziphone (always works for me and I never get neg feedback but some claim their are better ways) and usually get 300-375 even for used ones.

RottingCorpse: What do you mean dont get busted? As far as I know Its not illegal or against ebay TOS to sell unlocked/jailbroke items...many countries actually have the opposite issue where its illegal for the cell provider to sell a locked phone

wii's seem to still be selling great, at least i cant find them cheap anymore for resale

Kind of funny, but I always thought you could get all the tech products cheap in china!

I would suspect most people in BHW would tell you that you could make better money investing in some ad campaigns with 1500

Well Apple is something of a douchebag when it comes to their products. They locked it into AT&T only service and jailbreaking it is basically the same as modding your xbox 360 to play import games. Which it is illegal to own a modded console system because you could play pirated games. But I have not been keeping up with it lately, so Apple may have changed their stance on jailbreaking.

Well, i never looked into the legality of Jailbreaking ( i do know unlocking is kosher)

but a quick scan of ebay.us pulls up 323 active listings for jailbroke(n) iphones...so at least you'll have odds on your side

here is what I would do:
make like 10 ebay accounts or buy them
sell crap from dhgate or tradetang
    sell the crap on ebay
dropship it directly to your buyers from dhgate or tradetang.

If I have time, I can make anywhere from $400-$1,000 a week doing this.

Can you get plush dolls of video game characters? Like Mario, Luigi, etc.? I was selling those about a year ago on ebay. I was getting them from a supplier in china but my supplier kinda just disappeared for some reason. I had a nice net profit of 6 dollars per doll pushing about 200 dolls a week. They are lightweight too so shipping wasn't too costly. I don't know about individual shipping though from china as all of mine came in boxes with about 50 in them. Those hardcore anime people buy that shit up.

Also really anything dealing with anime. That stuff usually sells very well. Most of your buyers are going to be the younger male crowd. Either A. getting money from there parents or B. spending their entire McDonalds paycheck on anime. Either way you win.

It would probably be the more safer route for you. You are on the right track though. Anime and Video game toys are pretty good sellers. They don't have the largest "net profit" as compared to others items but I feel like they are a more safer route. You can build your money reserves up with them to invest in other high end products or slightly more risky. If your going to sell any kind of anime toys you should check anime forums and other eBay listings. That will give you a idea of specific anime series that are hot right now.

    Hope that helps you some.
