So I work for a company that injects around $100 a day into SEO and generating traffic. Primarily, we're on Adwords. I'm very interested in anybody's opinion on other methods that we should try.

I've tried FB - Worse returns than AW.
I've tried Bing - More expensive, lower traffic than AW. I found that at least with $100, it was more effective to keep it all in AW.

If anybody has more focused questions in order to provide recommendations, feel free to PM me as well.

    Thanks in advance!!

are you asking about seo or ppc? it sounds like you are asking about ppc.you can find untargeted traffic for a few pennies per click but conversion might be very low. depends on what you are selling.

It is always a hit or miss, you need to experiment more on FB as well. Also, which type of business lead is that.

    Try retargeting and facebook.
Even that you mentioned that facebook didn't have a good roi, I am pretty sure that you didn't do it right.
Same thing is for retargeting, don't expect to have a good roi if you don't optimize and do A/B testing constantly, till you have the perfect ROI that you need.

Hi, have you tried Bing adverts? Also try re-marketing on google partner network(image adverts) - you really need to do your research, and spend more on what works for you...

With that much amount, you can build yourself a super power private blog network to rank your website organically in google. Also, you may try to rank a supporting site and derive traffic from it to safeguard your main website on google.

I would pay someone to build a "tier1" site to help safe guard your site. Also I would pay someone to do only white hat and natural link building for your site.

Instead of adwords try getting a seo link building service, most cost around $150 a month for top quality links.

With $100 a day I would build a private network and boost up my ranking on Google.

I'd also go for this option, depending on your niche.

So let me clear up a couple questions on this but in advance, THANK YOU, for all these great ideas.

    1) My market is research. I'm looking for people in the US with certain health conditions to participate in research. We actually pay them to participate. I'm a legit medical facility.
    2) I'm use Adwords currently, so PPC. But I wanted to increase our traffic in the most cost effective ways possible.

A blog network sounds like an interesting option but can anybody point me to any great threads on how to go about it? Generally searching.. there's a lot on this.

Many of you also mentioned link building services. I'm researching these now.

What kind of niche? Medical Research
How many KWs? 10-20 high quality perhaps? I have to go count. We have a hundred or so spread out over different campaigns for different areas of the research.
Which market? specifically what are you asking?
Competition? Some. We compete for participants with other research projects.
Anyone did on-page SEO? Some. The site is in Joomla, which i hate. I do wordpress SEO on other sites but Joomla seo makes me crazy.

You have a pretty large budget and do not need to mess around with hand marketing Facebook. You could build a large private
blog network or focus on media buying campaigns.

Bing more expensive than AW??? Not even close for me. I ditched adwords 3 years ago and have been running bing only. My average cpc for very high competition KWs range from 25- 35 cents. Sometimes the KW position is lower but it's better than paying $1.50+/click with AW. Adwords won't even show my ads at the avg cpc cost I am getting with bing. I would play around with bing more and dial in your bids. And yeah, FB ads blow, at least for my niche. I'm sure if you were promoting a dating site or something the results would be better.

I'd be wary of some of the link building services out there now. They worked great 1-2 years ago but after some of the new google updates they don't seem to work anymore. That's my experience at least. They will generally write a small number of articles, maybe 1-5, spin the text and submit to a bunch of sites, then send a ton of really shitty links (like ones all in chinese) to the site where your shitty, unreadable article is posted in order to get it indexed. The quality of these articles are such garbage that nobody who actually reads them will actually go to your site, if they can even get through reading the nonsensical article in the first place. They are worthless for traffic, and now appear worthless to rank the site as well.

Don't trust the reviews either. I recently ordered a link building package (probably my last one from BHW), where my keywords were not ranked in the top 500 in google (used to be in the 20s), and after the service(waited 1 month) none of my keywords moved at all. I posted an honest review of the service, not bashing it, just saying that the KWs were nowhere before the service and still nowhere afterwards. Within a day my review was removed! The people providing these seo services are all donors and in with the mods. The reviews are all a crock of shit, they filter out all of the negative ones.

Just be careful with the seo services.

I really appreciate this. I'm a little wary of link services as well. It seems google's new updates don't help. What I really need are ways for people with this medical condition to notice me. And people who are sick are always on the web learning how to get better!

We're on TV as well... it takes anywhere from 2000-5000 people calling us to find 100-200 people who qualify for our research. We need to cast a wide net and stay out there.
