I have been on and off this site for 6 years now with various questions and few of them get answered.
It seems like everyone is everyone else's competition here and no one really wants to give up their secrets. Kind of like being in a room full of spies and asking them for their spy secrets. I suppose this site is best used as a marketplace, which is cool...I get it.

BHW is still the best marketing forum. Moreover, it's a world of competition and free services are dying for bread & butter.
 
I find folk very helpful as long as you can explain your question clearly but to be honest most things have been discussed previously if you just search. The only time people tend not to answer is if you are looking to be spoon fed.

You only have to look at the numerous posts answered each and every day to see this. Plus the marketplace is decent.

I have a secret for you...

To the contrary, i am learning a lot every day here on BHW.

Many help by answering questions in their spare time. If you don't expect spoonfeeding and try to elaborate on your query, you will get incredibly detailed answers and pointers.

2. Once again, how can anyone answer this? It depends on which writers you choose.

Lmao.

Some people spend years of their life finding and refining methods, they can't just drop it in your lap.

People will give you some hints or the basics, which is more than enough value.

It’s not a Q/A website. you gotta approach it differently - you can gather nuggets of really valuable info, but you gotta really go through huge pile of garbage in threads.

Good thing is that that way you eliminate most of the lazy retards as competitors. If it was Q/A, then everything would be oversaturated.

The previous 3 questions you posted, back in October 2015 when you were last active, were answered.

The one from yesterday went unanswered and I assume it was because you posted in the wrong sub-forum.

Typically we give warnings out for posting in the wrong sub-forum as we are directed to do that by Damien.

I'll let you slide though as you say you are from NJ but I wonder if you really are because those of us from NJ are not allowed to complain but rather figure out what went wrong and fix it.
 
You are true that very few will share there current working methods but you can get answers to specific questions here. Also, this forum is more active than many other places in my opinion. One thing we can do to improve further is answer also instead of just asking questions. Look at some of your last posts and you will realize the problem.
 
6 years and 100 messages,so I assume all 100 messages where not internal method questions like I have problems actually doing the method and some part of the method is not working and asking for help,but coming with dumps questions like hi give me your secrets how to make money im too lazy and i expect internet to be a magic place where everyone shares their secrets so retards saturate them and everyone end up poor.Yes man internet is bad place for this,go outside find first millionaire and tell him to tell you everything and share his money with you,in internet people are evil in real life they will start throwing money at you man dont waste nomore time go outside.you are lazy fk instead if doing you are whining nobody is helping you,this is not for you,go find a work or tell your mom that nobody on bhw helps you maybe she`ll do something about it.
 
I think a general Q&A section for noobs would be good.

This really isn't necessary. First off, you're not adding anything new to the thread. Everything you have said has already been said by the previous posters. Second, my original post never said anything about me wanting people to give up their secret formulas, but rather I was commenting on how there might be a culture of secrecy that tends to go against the spirit of friendly Q&A. If I am wrong, please quote where I specifically ask for anyone's secret sauce, can you do that?

Just because you decided one day to post your 3 Qs, doesn't mean there's an army of people who were waiting patiently in queue to post their As to them.
 
This is not the StackOverflow type forum where you get the so-called negative votes for asking questions.
