I got about 40 quality guest posts from different sites. All these guest posts were paid.
It's been about a month since them and I haven't had any rank increases.
All these guest posts were for a specific page and all of them were linked with Exact Match.
I didn't grow or fall in the ranking. What should I do?
I spent a lot of money on them, but I did not see any effect.
My site has been active for about 4 years.
I got all of these 40 guest posts in about a month, and now it has been about a month since the last guest posts.

I think it's better to combine guest posts with links from other resources: forums, question/answer sites, directories, and so on.

First of all, This is too many links in a month. Also, It doesn't guarantee any ranking however you can wait some more time. Also, Diversify your backlink profile.

First check if they have been indexed. If not, change the anchors as soon as possible, use maximum 20-30% exact match and minimum 20-30% naked anchors.

After that, buy a package of 2000-3000 social bookmarks / shares to the page you took the links to, and do facebook ads and google ads few days (as little cpc/cpm as possible, as much traffic as possible).

Then index those guestposts.

That way you have a chance to save something.

They could be just bad/worthless guest posts. Sorry to say it.

If you paid for a guest post on a good website but didn't see any results, it could be because the website isn't relevant to your niche, the backlink hasn't been indexed yet, the guest post isn't high-quality, or your website has other SEO issues. To fix the problem, you should make sure you're posting on relevant websites, give the backlink time to index, create high-quality content for the guest post, and optimize your website for SEO. If you still don't see any results, you can contact the website owner or try other SEO tactics like content marketing or paid advertising.

There's not a chance those were "40 quality guest posts"

I give you the benefit of the doubt but how much did you pay for it? $200 per post is $8000 as you talk about "quality" then anything under $150-200 per post is shit usually. This is not a rule of thumb of course but as a link seller myself I know how much quality sites cost.

Highly likely that you just bought bad links from guest post farms.

40 in a month? That too with same anchor text? It was too fast IMO.
If possible then get the anchor texts edited buddy.
Also check if all the guest posts are indexed or not. If they are not indexed, they will not provide any seo value.
Now going forward, never go this fast and try to mix your backlinks types from other sources.

Hello, for my experience:
1) Check how strong is the competition
2) Adding backlinks very fast does't mean you improve ranking so fast in one month. depending on the competition you need more time or if no competition you can rank even without any backlink
3) I know that spending money and don't get result is frustrating, but don't give up

It takes time, also if the links are not good, it will never improve the rank, don't do exact match keywords backlinks, do generic

If you are still not seeing the results, check you on page SEO, update the content of the page, target more long tail keywords& publish more high quality articles. Using 40 exact match anchors without diversifying is not good. You need to diversify your anchor text with more partial match anchors, generic, & naked anchors. Make sure that all the links were indexed and do proper internal linking.

Sometimes 40 links to Exact match anchors will do nothing, that might be the issue. And also check whether all 40 posts relevant to your site, are indexed or not. Always use a mix-up of anchor text if you doing it in bulk and also be patient for some time to get desired results.

If those were "Quality", you would surely have got Good Results. Even with fewer posts on Good Sites can give you positive results considering everything else (Onpage, Anchor %, Links velocity etc) are also in place!
Since you mentioned your site is 4 years old and you also did not see any decline in Rankings. You probably did not get links on good domains!

I just learned a lot from this post just reading everyone's else replies.. thanks..

You could have used some diversified keywords for those 40 posts. Have you built any other links for longtail keywords? if not please do it for your site.

All these guest posts were for a specific page and all of them were linked with
Exact match (Risky)
40 GPs in one month (Risky)

We even can't see the quality of your links , but you shouldn't do link building in this way.

Just google this : "choose right anchors for link building"
