I've been sick for the past week and have not found out why, until I visited the doctor today. I was redirected to the hospital for a blood test and some x-rays. I tested positive for Mono, Mononucleosis. Which is basically a 1-2 month sickness that makes me tired all the time, fever, chills, sweating, sleeping way too much, lose of apatite, and just feeling like shit in general.

This sickness ruined my summer, it began at the beginning of summer, and will end around the end of summer. I can't go to any friends, parties, or really any place social, besides the doctor's waiting room...

My current schedule is: (Almost on the dot)
    10:00 PM - 10:00 AM - Sleep
10:00 AM - 02:00 PM - Breakfast, Computer, TV, etc.
    02:00 PM - 06:00 PM - Sleep
06:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Dinner, Computer, TV, etc.
    Rinse, Repeat.

Now, I'm posting this because I was thinking that all the free time I have could be spent doing long time consuming techniques, and was curious if anyone knew of any long time consuming techniques?

Hehe, well I'm 14, so how old were you when you had it? Maybe it'll only last me a month too.

Haha, thanks for that. That probably would've inspired me that I'm not sick, but I tested positive, so I'm fucked. :D

I had it my sophomore year of college and basically played through the whole basketball season with it lol. I lost about 30 lbs in this period as well (30lbs of muscle btw). Also what happens is that your liver swells up so you are extra sensitive, so a simple hit to your body could burst it and kill ya. Don't be a dumbass like I was. Rest :)

Alright, thanks. Really hope it only lasts me a month too, and then I'll have like 1/2 month to make up for what I missed. :)

Yeah, my spline hurts a lot from it being swollen. And you lost 30 pounds from it? Eww... I've been working out with my Dad to gain muscle for wrestling next year and managed to get about 40 pounds on, but now I'm going to lose most of that? Any tips on keeping it on?

Hahahaha! That's so messed up, but made me really laugh out loud.

God, I've been too anti-social lately, laughing at everything I read. :p

Yeah, don't work out. It weakens your immune system. Take it easy and rest is the best remedy.

Ugh, I laughed again. :( When reading that I laughed by the being 14 remark. So now I really need to get out, too mad I can't for another month. :bawling:

"So that's what makes them popular, thanks insanity, now I know!"
"And knowings only half the battle..."

Nope, hehe, I mean 40 pounds. Of course in that time I grew about 4 inches, so that's also a factor. But I was working out 4-5 times a week. All I did was on a strict diet of A LOT of calories and protein drinks 2 times a day and after workouts. No, it isn't fat. :p I have a crazy metabolism.

And thanks. ;) Woke up at 6:30 today. Blah... Trying to think of what I will do today.
