IM A COMPLETE NOOB TO CPA... having said that

I first tried azoogle ads.. while on call they asked me if i had any experience with cpa before, I said no and said that i have been learning a lot from online forums and google and am a fast learner.

after that they said that we are not accepting inexperienced members yet. please get some experience from other networks and then try again.

I then read all the stickies here and tried maxbounty and called them after submitting my application. I GOT ACCEPTED. :)

k so the problem is that my AM said that she will call me after a week to check up how everything is going...

im new to cpa.. what if I suck?

what should i do in this week.. and more importantly what does she expect me to do in this week?

Your AM just calls to try and be helpful. Although the AM's I've had in the past were really just trying to get off the phone. <shrug> I don't think it matters much if you suck; they mostly care if you're sending fraud traffic. That said, make sure to spoof your referrer with a whitehat site :D

What type of promotion did you say you were going to do? Week should be decent time to test your campaigns via PPC or Email.

Just send legit leads and you will be all good. If you are sending legit traffic... she's there to assist you make more.

Everybody sucks in their first week or so ....Heck you may suck for the first six months. Once you get over that learning curve ...get ready to rock and roll and party like a rock star!

As stated above, your AM is just going to call to touch base and see how you are making out and if you need any help with anything.

We do not close accounts of affiliates because they are inexperienced or are not generating a ton of volume. Everyone has to start somewhere. If you are planning on being fraudulent, well, that's another story altogether.

anytime from 9:00am and 4:00pm should guarantee that whoever your AM is will be in the office. I'd suggest you avoid right at the top of the hour as there are the occasional scheduled meetings that take place then.

BTW, if you go straight to voicemail after you dial the AM's extension, it means they're on the phone and you should try a few moments later.

What is a maxbounty owner doing on BHW!???, that is the strangest thing I have ever seen, he can only be here spying and collecting info, sorta like having a undercover dea agent masquerading as member of a cartel, but the twist is everyone knows about it and is cool with it that is crazy.

Guys relax. Steve has been here a long time. And more often that not, as you seen above is here to give a helping hand. As long as you don't defraud or cause problems with shaddy stuff on his network you will be fine.

It's generally a good idea to figure that most affiliate networks visit these forums, and what you post on a 'public forum' should not be considered private.

Blackhat is not really a public forum in that sense is it?, I mean you need to be accepted and the approval process can take awhile from what I understand, no one can just view blackhat post unless they are accepted as members, right?

A very large portion of BHW is spidered and indexed by Google. Any network can find out quickly what's being said about them in these public areas of BHW by simply setting up Google alerts.

Neat, at first I thought you had to get promoted by other VIPs, now I see under the donate link at the top. Thanks.

I thought BHW world was our own little secret society, now you're telling me that anyone can know what is going on in the forums, it's no wonder why CL has made so many changes all they needed to do was wait for google alerts and make changes based on the incoming information, there has to be away to get around that if not BHW offers no advantages, that's why I signed up to learn things no one else knows, I guess not anymore.

    Black, ask yourself these questions:

How much work did I have to go through to sign up?

    Was there an approval process?

    How big is the forum?

    How close are the members?

How did I find out about BHW myself?

IF it was that easy for me to sign up, then how easy would it be for others to sign up as well?

Now, as you think about how EASY it was for YOU to get here, tell me, how on god's green EARTH did you EVER come to the concludsion that this is a "secret society"?

This forum is just as well known as DP and WF.

    Always keep this in mind:

ANY FORUM THAT HAS AN OPEN SIGNUP PROCESS IS PUBLIC! PERIOD!

Also, noone who is milking a niche would EVER, EVER, EVER post there techniques on this forum playboy.

BHW is a great place though, good for updates on all the major traffic hubs. I'd suggest you use it as a "daily news" like sort of place to keep yourself abrest on what is happening in the IM world.

But if your looking for a place where everyone just gives away there best techniques for the "good of the community", well, good luck! That certainly happens from time to time, ofcourse. But most people keep certain "golden" niche secrets to themselfs mostly.

When you start making steady money, you will understand what I am saying. Good luck to you!

Just be professional and tell her the truth. You're working on some projects and they haven't turned out the way you'd like. No need to pretend you're a hotshot when you're not.

Just keep trying and keep learning new things.
