Note: Those who were invited are unable to invite others. Only the first-tier 100,000 members can. The seven they choose to invite (or eight) do not receive invites. Also, the invites are not invites, but nominations to receive an invite.

No, but seriously, I'm a member of many other forums, and that is what they are saying. Reputable members are receiving information about it saying these things.

you can sell them on ebay. they were going for $40-$50 last I checked. or, you can take a gamble and hold onto it. the next time they release invites they may allow those invited to hand out more invites, in which case you may be able to make more.

I'd LOVE a Google Wave invite. If you could send one my way, I'd greatly appreciate it. If you'd rather hang on to them and monetize them, that's fine with me (we'll all get Wave accounts eventually).
