I have a website that is ranked #5 for a very difficult keyword in the Ecig niche, and one of micro sites that is ranked in the 15th position.

If were to 301 or forward the domain to my main site will I see a jump in rankings from this?

Or should I just keep trying to pump the one higher on the first and have the mini site move to the first also.

You should, yes. I did this in the past, and actually got a bigger jump than I expected. Your results may vary obviously.

    You should.
I will be doing something similar. I have a site that's #5 for a big term, and have one that's #20 right now and another that's #24. I'm trying to push them both to top 10 and then 301.
    Just 301 it.

Now for the 301, do I simply just 301 the whole domain?

what about all the pages that are on the site.. Do you have to make sure that all the content that is on the sites I am 301'ing is on the new site? Just have a few questions before I make the switch.

You don't have to make sure the same content is on the new site, but somewhat relevant.

As for the 301 on single pages or whole domain, I am not sure either and would like to know. My sites are worthless outside the front page, so I'll just 301 the whole thing, not sure what to do if other pages have value.
