I want to buy a domain that someone is using for a redirect. It is going to some generic MLM site so Im pretty sure I might be able to get it. When I do a whois search it asks me if I want to buy then it sends me to a broker on sedo.com. Is this the best way to go about it? Through the broker? Should I send a message on the redirected site? Maybe they wont get it? What should I do? How to contact?

If the domain do not has a privacy protection services (hiding the whois info) then you must be able to get the owner informatiion through a whois search. Make sure you are searching through the registrar whois which will give you the complete information over the domain.
Even if the domain has a privacy protection service, sending an email to the email listed there in the registrar contact in theory should forward your message to the owner real email address.

As ppblack mentioned, your best bet would probably be to look at the WhoIs details and see if the owners email is listed there. If not, your best bet is probably to try and contact through the website, or through Sedo.
