So, as part of the whole new years resolution thing, I decided to start working out again, after a fairly unhealthy 2015.

And I'm off to a good start. I did well with my dieting and working out in 2014, so I know what I should be doing. However, after the unnecessarily long hiatus, it seems my body is not used to such intense physical exertion, and after the second day of training, my elbows have a rather limited 30 - 60 degree bending range (just enough for most guys, I know), and a swivel capacity of about 90 degrees.

Which means not only can I not scratch my own back, I can't stand up or sit down without groaning like a grandfather with hemorrhoids (I don't have hemorrhoids). I can barely lift a spoon to my mouth.

In any case, wish me luck. I'm doing everything in my will power not to let this become one of those "one week new years resolutions". Despite all I may have said to make you assume otherwise, I'm feeling good about this.

Here are my results from 2014:

Eggs and green vegetables dude. Anyone could look exactly like that, after just a few weeks of eating right. Maybe even a couple of days.

Stretch, dude. Treat yourself to a foam roller and learn how to use it. You'll be good as new.

I never really paid much attention to the whole "stretching" and "cardio" side of things until now, to be honest. I always thought it was reserved solely for those dickhead cyclists who weren't satisfied with just annoying drivers on the road. They wanted to invade the gyms as well, and show off those athletic calves of theirs.

Now I'm starting to think people run/cycle every other day for a reason.

Eat eggs and try to change your lifestyle instead of rushing to some result because it won't last.
