    okay so as i understand it..

    you send traffic, say from facebook - to an incentive page, where they get something "for free" if they "complete this survey"

    so the incentive is a free download to complete a survey

    so then i send them to my blog with CPA redirector installed? (i dont get it, whats the point?)

    then that automatically sends them to the survey page?

    why cant i just send them to the survey page myself? i dont understand

    i know i sound like a noob, im new to cpa.. lol

    Because you don?t want CPA networks and their advertisers knowing where your traffic came/comes from. It doesn?t matter what the source of traffic is ? MySpace, Facebook, torrents, foreign, incentivised, etc ? if it?s against a network?s/advertiser?s ToS, an affiliate may be get banned and even lose any accumulated earnings if he/she gets caught, so that?s the reason to fake/hide a browser?s referrer.

    what i dont understand is

    if i send traffic from:

    facebook -> bh site with incentive (fill out this survey to get access to this download)

    then the bh site has a link to the a wordpress site with cpa redirector, which IF they came from the bh site, it sends them straight to the offer page... and makes the it look like my traffic simply CLICKED on an offer on my blog?

    and if they DIDNT come from the bh site, it doesnt redirect?

    facebook -> Url-> re-direct -> CPA offer

    So with that siad, the CPA network only can look back to the re-direct and has no clue the lead came from Facebook. However a simple phone call to the lead will change everything.

    If you don't understand why you need to fake the referrer when you bend the rules, then you've not done your basic CPA homework and/or you've not yet earned enough to be worth some tough questions from the auditor or affiliate manager.

    It is good to hide the referrer even if your source of quality traffic is "honest", because the networks aren't and you don't have any patent or exclusive to protect your "source"..

    okay im pretty sure i understand

    so i promote on facebook, then from facebook i sent people to a blackhat site, then i just have a link or something? on the blackhat site to a whitehat site with a blog and cpa redirector installed.. then i have ads on the whitehat page of the offers im promoting

    THEN what happens is

    the people sent from the blackhat site are automatically redirected to an offer and dont see the blog at all, they fill out an offer

    and cpa redirector makes it look like the people came from the whitehat blog and clicked on one of the offers?

    thanks guys :) i understand now

    @agent orange mkultra

    yah i am new to cpa, i just want to make sure that i get off to a proper start and dont get banned doing stupid things. i think im already going to get banned from my current network because i did the free laptops offer and it isnt allowed. now i have 500$ i need to account for and they will see my incentive page lol

    Can the cpa track back to the blackhatsite????
    why don't you put on facebook the redirector url??
    facebook (you put here the url)----your site(they don't see because redirects)---- the offer page
    (if they can track you to facebook they can track you to the blackhat site also )

    if you dont fake the referer, you will end up fucking the referer. all urls out of bhw for example have hideref.org preceeding it. got the point?
