almost everybody who uses SER talks about using lists. some talked about verified, but i dont seem to hear people talking about indexed.

i tried scraping a list using scrapebox and came up with 360k urls. i broke it down to 10k per list and used the addon index-checker. set the connection to 1, even increased the delay to 4 sec. with 10 private proxies, i got my ip blocked with only 150 indexed urls and some 400 not indexed. i barely finished checking about 1000 (or fewer) urls. it will take me forever JUST to find the urls of the list that are indexed. unless i am doing it wrong. how?

What's the point of getting a backlink from a site that is not even indexed? i imagine if they are not already indexed, they probably never will be. even worse if they are actually de-indexed. so they are verified. so what?

i've bought a list from fiverr. 100k+ and i only got 900 verified links. i didnt actually check, but i imagine i prolly got like 50 indexed links out of it. i know since its fiverr, those are prolly not 'quality' list. how differently are so-called quality links obtained?

i read somewhere on bhw people talk about how to create a huge list. they basically find the urls people are spamming. so you can spam there, i can too. those urls mostly are not indexed and never will be. a huge list just means a huge waste of time.

i am all ears if i am wrong.

You're using scrapebox, to scrape google for url/domains. You don't think they're indexed?

i used external links (addon) to get links from the links. so they are not scraped from google directly.
i also dont think those lists are scraped directly from google. if they are, what keywords do they use? most lists i've seen dont mention niche/keywords.

i used backlink checker. i wonder if that goes through google?

Low quality links don't index easily (who knows why G doesn't love them? :p). That's why there are indexing services, to give them a push to get indexed.

In short: blast -> verify -> index.

    Classic. Love it! :)

Well you should probably check out some case studies and decide on your model and approach.

Then you should try the golden rule of SEO which is "Test, Test, Test and then measure results and then test some more"

Don't believe everything you read, test it and find out.

Then you won't be asking these questions, you will be answering others and you will be in the position to change and roll with algorithm changes.

All that aside, back to your original question, in GSA SER Verified list is what people talk about because its the front line, if you can't get a link from a site then it doesn't matter if its indexed. Thats as far as most people get. So once you have domains and urls you can build links on its up to you to make sure they get indexed.

But bear in mind that I have see case studies where people have ranked a site in top spots using only deindexed blog links. What google shows as "indexed" and what it knows about are 2 different things, also here is a question for you.

If google crawls your link but chooses not to index it for any reason, perhaps its on a deindexed domain, perhaps its a terrible quality link, perhaps its too similar to another link you already have, does that necessarily mean that just because they didn't index it that it didn't impact and affect your SERP?

I think if you set out to really get into "This game" that you will be entirely surprised by what you find to be true vs what people and google say is true.

What I recommend is that you load the 360k links into GSA instead and then setup a campaign to a test site/not important website.

Once it's complete, take all the verified links and run them to scrapebox index checker. This will stop you from getting IP blocked and you will be left with a list of 10,000 GSA verified Indexed links. :D

It's been stated actually lots of times either here or on another seo forums. Search engines do not show everything they index, what I'm trying to say is that if you cannot see your link through site: command in google it doesn't mean your url does not get benefit from the backlink.
