Can some experienced member in here answer this?

When we fake the referrer, we dont show the url to
the networks.

Now some networks points finger when you blank the refererr.

My question is :

If I put in a couple of articles in the ezine and set up a
blog where I have the aff links etc.

What impression will the networks get ? What will be the info
that they are going to get ?

I am not using any DMR.

Plain sending the traffic from the ezine to the blog to the offer.

Thank you for your time.

if you're using text links you're not going to see any impressions, impressions only apply for banners

Can someone point me to a thread or info on blanking out the referrer? I need to do this for a couple of affilates and the search function seems to be letting me doqwn at the moment, but I know I've seen a thread about this somewhere around here.

Here you go

My question was:

Is the blog going to show up or the ezinearticles going to show up ?

How will the network come to know of my traffic sources?

If everything is legit why do I need to blank out the referrer if
the blog is ok with the network?

To be clear,

I want to know what kind of info the network gets?

I already answered your question 5 posts up in this thread, so I don't get what you are after.

Even if the blog is legit (i.e., white hat), you may not want to give away your landing pages. When the network and/or advertiser sees exactly what you're doing, you run the risk of getting your landing pages ripped off. Not only can they rip off your pages, they can also find out which sites link to your landing pages, thereby identifying the sources of your traffic. When people find out that what you're doing is profitable, they may copy your techniques and become your competition. Blanking or spoofing the referrer makes it more difficult for them to do so.

if you have a link to your affiliate in the article, the article, duh.
