Hey guys,

My one-month old site just rose 13 places to claim the #1 spot
(out of 1.13 million pages, 27,000 quoted competition) after just a few days of social bookmarking and link submissions. As well as a 94 spoke link wheel done by Jonathan Waller (over at the buy/sell services section)

Just now, I used a link submitter that gave me 700 links in hours. And I think that was what got me to #1

But I don't know how long this would last and I'm sort of wondering now if a sandbox is coming.

Think I'll just stop the link-building for a few days and see what happens..

Anyone care to share similar experiences?

The 700 link blast that you've just done wasn't a great idea if the links were direct to your money site, that's just asking for your site to be put in the sandbox. If you are building links now it should be to your linkwheel sites.

Care to share the URL and keywords which you rank no.1 for?

if your "fresh out the womb" money site is being used for all your linking projects, enjoy the sandbox.

2487928475693745 links for a 30 day old website is a bit suspicious don't you think? Use those web 2.0 properties Im sure you have as buffers...

If you don't get the boot, congrats.

What kind of software did you use for that 700 blasts? I am interested!

enjoy i got some site that were pr 1 and 3 in the first 30 days, then they all got sandboxed..... so is fake pr.

Fresh sites and pages always jump around.
Even to #1.
Eventually they will settle for their ranking in the SERPS.

I know it's exciting to see your site ranked #1 but once you see this happen again and again there will be other stats that get you jumping around the room....your sales...:D

Care to explain or show any guide about this?

Thanks in advance!

If you keep building links at the same pace I think you should be fine , use softwares carefully and logically

he is right. You will hit the sandbox, and that's where a lot of people just give up and feel back linking is not worth it if you can't be found on the serps. Make sure you don't stop your linking.

Congratz, happy for you! :)

May ye prosper from internets.

Sorry not going to last. In fact you probably have web history on and click your site in google all the time so they placed it on top. Make sure you sign out and disable web history...if you even know how to do that.

Congratulations mate! Don't worry about the sandbox, its inevitable, but if you continue to build the site and the backlinks, it'll come back.

will it definitely hit the sandbox?

I just paid for 2000 links to my 1 year old site. Will it hit the sandbox?

Just an update my site got dropped from #1 very quickly in one hour and is now at #7.
I used an indexing and backlinking tool by seoblackhat.co.uk that is push button style so I just have to leave my computer on. Similar to tools like backlinkspeed etc.

The most I got out of it was 1500 backlinks in a night.

I've got a question for you guys: Do backlinks that are NOT indexed by Google matter at all in providing link juice to your site?

I agreee with hootnnolla, for a site this young, a Web2.0 Feeder Site like Squidoo would be better to direct backlinks at.

You wouldn't want to risk 3 mths-6mths worth of organic traffic should you get sanboxed.

Here an excerpt of a post I saw that I felt was simple and to-the-point of what niche sites like mine are really all about.

"Heres the process...

1. You create the website(s)
2. Build the backlinks over time.
3. Profit will relate to traffic.

You must get traffic first and this is what the seo strategy is all about.

My first site didn't make me money straight away and it wasnt till probably 1 month after until I made my first sale. This is why you should work on many sites at once to keep motivated."

Yes, build new sites all the time, acquire lots of cyber real estate, let the sites age and who knows, you might be able to flip them even in months to come.

Just my 2 cents' worth, what do you guys think?
