I created my own clickbank page for a product I was selling on clickbank, and I have a check out page that goes right to the clickbank check out page......the problem is it's converting waaayyy less then the actual clickbank page.

I ran a PPC campaign and uncovered a long tailed keyword phrase. The PPC campaign was converting 1 out of 33, my new page is ranked on page 1 of Google and it's converting 1 out of 150. I actually think the designer who did the page made it look too good.

BTW my PPC campaign was running on Yahoo Adcenter, I'm on the center of page 1 on Google, I thought I was going to have sales out my ass.

My question is, can I iframe the original clickbank page without losing my position on page 1?

Should I redesign the page? It took me 4 months to get to page 1 I would hate to lose my position.

    Any suggestions would be great.

Sometimes if the page design is too complicated/fancy it can reduce conversions I have found.

I have seen some designs that look like crap they are so simple yet convert great.

What Johnhunter is saying might be the case. But point taken, I have to get it ranked in Yahoo as well, which I have never tried before. I only cared about yahoo traffic when Google was banning me.

If I Iframe the original page - to sort of split test, would I lose ranking??

I would just enter the iframe code in the header of the front page.
