OP ill give you some advice. Im new to IM , discovered this forum in april 2016. By june i started reading it everyday, doing stuff, thinking about it, being creative. in august i was making $700/month and with 200 total investments( 50% was a miss 50% made everything else). Now i am at stable 4 figures a month which is like 5 figures in US( life quality wise). I know its not by any mean success or victory yet, but this is how your timeline should look like if you are to live online. Why? Because its only going to get harder.
So many people are living in shit economy countries (myself included) and earning online is a solution for many. Big companies are getting smarter ensuring bigger cut for themselves, governments will make laws to tax everything, to make everything that big companies dont like - illegal . Its the way it is. Clearnet is not a free zone anymore, you can't make a streaming site, you can't resell things you don't have rights to sell, you cant copy pictures anymore!It doesn't matter if buyer and seller are happy doing business, if it hurts some conglomerate say adios to it. Its a big powerplay theater , strong and rich will always dictate rules and lobby laws, and where does that leave YOU as an poor individual . Yea you guessed it - in a shithole. If you couldn't make it in last 9 years when it was extremely easy to earn money (today is still easy to do it), you should just do something else. Do something that evolves much slower, open a bakery, because internet is for very fast learning individuals who understand world around them, and are capable of processing shitloads of information. I mean you don't need to know what BGP or MX record is, or what telnet is. And that is main problem i think. Ability to join IM hype train without knowing anything about internet is what produces weak entrepreneurs. How can you understand post reach and engagement, how every social media individual feed works when you dont know what algorithm is. You can't. Thats why you must throw piles of money into big company to give you your reach. If your pocket is deep enough, and you know what split test is, youll get lucky and find your way. If you don't have cash, you need to be smart.
Here's example of abusing algos:
When big christian holiday happens you need to be a big shitty manipulator. Post a picture of Jesus and Maria with "type AMEN if you trust in God" caption. Why? All that 70 iq people will type amen, but will serve as a beacon in your post reach , and every friend of said person will see post if he rolls 5% proc chance ( actual number depends on activity of AMEN user) and since dumb people have dumb friends, they will type AMEN too. Your post can reach people now.
Or vote this or that , comment/like, emo race , all types of fake choices, false dillemas, hiding true intent of poster.
That is what IM is today , not antivirus reselling.
Hope some struggling IMers will use this example to see that applying to ogads doesn't make them marketeer. Knowing algos makes you marketeer. Or having deep pockets to split test everything
