I Can't Rank With a Inner Page !

Hi mates,

i posted a thread here a while a go and a lot of you guys told me that it's so dangerous to link only to the home page ... so i made a post and optimized it with my keyword and bookmarked it and i started building links .

it's been a couple of days now and I'm not in the first 100 pages and the keyword is very weak! 8k competing pages and the first 5 sites have 0-5 links !!!!! and my page are well optimized .

i built links for my home page and i got to the first page in 24 hours with 80k competition !


Any advice ? how can i make my inner pages rank as good as my home page,

thanks! so do i have to just keep building links to my home page ? a inner page will never rank right ?

I forget the percentage offhand... but it's something like 60/40 or 70/30, with the larger number being links to your home page... the other deep links. Things change and certainly the big G... so don't stop building.

Of course you can get an inner page to rank, you just need to optimise it, and build lots of good quality links, and loads of high pr links too if possible.
