I cant get an emd for what I need!

I know this has been asked a thousand times but can anyone give me their experience on trying to rank a non emd? Whats my best bet? Adding the-,
best,x,? Im confused someone please help!

Tell me what the no.1 result is when you search Make Money Online? That is among the most competitive keywords and is the EMD ranked number 1?
 
I get what your saying, and I have heard that they are putting less and less emphasis on EMD. Should I not even worry about the domain and just hammer it with heavy anchor text?
 
I would concentrate on diversity. Some anchor text, some with your domain name, bookmarks, etc. I would get a dot com with the keywords in there somewhere. Like keywordspot.com or something.
 
I rank non-emd all the time, sure they are nice but it isn't that big of a deal. Especially if it is not a micro site.

Good to hear. I plan on making it an authority site. So do you put the keyword somewhere in the domain? How about the title, description, body of text, etc?
 
Yes, yes, yes. However, try to use a few different variants of your keyword. Example, if your keyword is lose weight, you will want to use lose weight fast, fast ways to lose weight, losing weight, etc.

It all depends but most often I include the keyword in the title. I have maybe 2 sites where it is not included at all and those are sites that I think will be well branded.
