I think there is a way to own a house in the US without having a visa.
    Is that correct?

And if I wanted to stay there for a long time, e.g. 1 year. I couldn't work anywhere without a visa but I could run my business from there, right?

Just wondering, I might want to have a second house somewhere in a year or a few years.

I did have a chance of getting a permanent visa once, I moved there for 3 years but I moved back to Europe instead of staying for 5 years. I couldn't stand the systems everywhere there.

of course you can own a house in USA, if you find a bank to borrow you money.

If you have the money to buy it right upfront. Go ahead and do so, you don't need to borrow it if you dont want to...

Unlike most countries, the USA has very few restrictions on foreign nationals owning property or real estate.
