I bought some dictionary .CO domains when they came out, are they worth anything?

When the .COs came out I tried to find some dictionary domains. By the time I ordered, ALL the good ones were taken.

What do you guys think, are these worth anything?

    DRIED.CO
    FOUL.CO
    MUTE.CO
    PILE.CO
ONTO.CO (I developed a fast URL shortener on this one)

After buying them, I never really followed the .COs. Do you think I can get anything for any of them?

They may be worth something sometime down the road but are nowhere close to .com .net and .org. I never really tried to rank one, have you tried to rank any of these and if so what success have you had with them?

Its the same as currency, the more you create denomination, the lesser the value. I dont see any worth of the .co as of the moment, but give it a few years. Yes, I also bought some keyword .co, will use it as doorway for my MS's. Havent started ranking it yet, but I will let you know its performance on mid competition keywords.

Haven't tried ranking any of them at all. When I heard they were releasing the .COs I tried to register a couple just for kicks, because who knows what will happen. I haven't given it a second thought since then, so I just wanted to see if anyone here had any experience with it.

I see if you worked on making onto into something new in the domain shrinking environment I see it could be well off on a good start. Onto is a very brandable name. Like the other posters said wait until the coms start to lose their edge in the domain field and others start blooming a forest. Everything comes in time if you have everything prepared and ready to adventure with.
