I bought an expired domain, and its STILL for sale on godaddy.com !!! For a High Price

    I am confused, i saw a great domain for sale and bought it, after registering it i called godaddy and asked them why is this so, they said o its just the cache or something....the listing says expired at the end of December...wt*?

    Same thing happend to me . I bought a very good domain from Hostwinds and 5 days after someone bought same domain from godaddy. I was lucky cause one of my friend bought it and gave me back.

    create a site and check your expiry. If everything ok, listing will end with no transfer even if someone win the auction.

    Usually, if you bought a domain, your email will be installed in the whois admin and before anyone else can buy or register it, au as admin will be asked, if your domain can transferred to the buyer or other owner. If it really happened what you describe something must have go wrong when you bought it and your registrar was still in whois admin...
