The company and website: azmovingpros d01 [0M

4 years old., PR 2. It used to rank top 2nd page for local and organic but mysteriously it disappeared around last big update. The previous owners created another site: sandiegolocalmovers (.|\|et)which kind of mirrors the old site. It's 2 years old, PR 2. I'm wondering, if it was your business, how you guys would proceed?

kws are san diego movers, san diego moving companies, etc etc

    Thank you for help.

Hire an expert here. It's an easy job for them.

You should contact him if he mirrored the website. He could tricked you with 301 redirects. As far as I know in this niche almost every lead is a client.

I've hired experts for many things seo and non seo. My experience is, you can't simply hire an expert to make problems go away.

Would I be able to tell if there are 301s? What do you mean that, in this niche every lead is a client?

I type in the keywords that relate to the biz and it's nowhere in 200. It used to be. No message from WM tools. And if you search for company, its first result. So I have no way of knowing if its penalized or not

You are wrong here. Probably that is the reason you were scammed. Experts solve problems.

I wasn't scammed. I knew the situation well before buying the company. There's more to a company's value than it's serp position.

The problem with experts, is that you have to be an expert to truly know who one is. So how to go about finding one?

I think it is more like problem with trust. Ask for referrals.
