It isn't just Q&A sites. It's trained on a mix of all types of content. All large language models are trained on "The Pile".

It's a large 800gb dataset. Contains everything from the entire Wikipedia to StackExchange to GitHub to emails of Employees of Enron (it was made public durring it's bankruptcy proceedings)
