I work with a lot of the Silicon Valley corporations including Google and it's a lot of fake, ass kissing politics like the other guy said. It's a pretty weird almost cult-like setting for these companies. You should see them at company events, pretty entertaining. Well wish you the best though, maybe you will enjoy it.

And no, I'm not going to be rich by having this job. Honestly the only reason why I applied is because I wanted new experiences, more knowledge and new surroundings. I make about 3 times more on SEO than what they'll pay me. And the pay is not that bad.

Alright, I'm going to call BS all over this thread. No way they're going to let a "nobody" ( according to yourself ) get anywhere close to any power like that.
You said product creation? Like the actual engineering of their services? That requires a solid background of programming, accredited by universities, that's 4 years right there at least and if you're doing SEO you wouldn't be able to program too much, so that rules that out. If you mean product management, you most likely wouldn't have access to be able to do anything, like see any bit of their algo or effect anyones sites here.
You may have a job at Google, but you're not going to be able to change people's ranks or unsandbox a site.
I do agree with you that GiftGuru was a bit disrespectful in his comment though, being on BHW doesn't necessarily mean you're doing illegal/immoral things, and therefore has no relation to a religious standpoint someone takes. More power to you Ethan.
