    ...keting?

I will have to use a sattelite/long range wifi thingy.

I read that you can't used a wired connection and it needs to be wifi and the ping is bad.

For marketing would this be a problem? I don't play online games so no prob there.

If I am running python scripts would this be and issue and/or uploading videos?

The big thing I would be worried about is connection cutting out while a script is running.

At worst I guess I would have to move all scripts to a vps/server and/or I could send my main computer to my moms and just have a basic computer for coding and call the scripts from home.

Just seeing if there are any other considerations I hadn't thought of.

you might have to modify your scripts to work with delayed responses
best way is to get it hosted on some vps and run it directly from there if its fully automated
use your computer just for coding and important stuff

Rent a VPS and use that to run tools then you should be OK

Much better to have a VPS for running scripts

do a few speedtest on the area and see if the internet speed is decent and is stable.

if the internet speed is bad and unstable, the vps will be so slow / lag and you won't be able to use it properly.

yeah, VPS will not help much in this situation if you're planning to use remote desktop. I have a bad connection right now and it make it difficult to use x2go on a linux server. I can't imagine it being any better with a windows machine

I found dial up and satellite internet (hughes net) incredibly annoying and demoralizing for working online. You might not, but perhaps try staying with a friend with bad internet and seeing if its doable for you. I'm not a patient person, so perhaps you are and will be able to handle it.
