    Well... the time has come for drastic measures. As some of you may know I have been in the adult biz since the 90's and one of my sites though powerful 50PA 40DA keeps getting its a** kicked by massive authority sites and some crap overnight sites doing good with bs linking that works for a short period of time (envious*) but then ends up getting waxed and then 2min later another is there lol. I have not yet been able to lock down not one single term at number 1 for anything I am trying to rank for even though I am on the first or second page for them all for years now.

    Anyways, I recently purchased a google news approved site (they are not cheap at all btw) in my niche that is a 70PA 65DA 10,000's of legit article links from huffpost, wsj, nymag, break, The Chive etc etc. and I have created a category for my "adult" stuff (no nudity, just legit articles with risque images) and forwarded my old site to the category keeping all pages and content in place on the new site category. I have been fighting this decision for a very long time now and it is time for me to piss or get off the pot. Sure, my old site makes around 6figs but could be so much more and that is what I hope happens with this big move.

    It was getting so difficult to try and rank my old site as it is an EMD adult term... I was getting paranoid about getting waxed with a penalty as I was starting to think about spending big money on being a bit greasy and thought there has to be a better semi-legit "safe way to do this" as I paid over 100k for the domain years ago and do not want it to end up being a desk weight.

    Another reason for my decision is that John Muller has said several, many, an extraordinarily amount of times now that the domain makes no difference at all anymore and trust is the main factor now "do we trust this domain? Are extremely trustful sites linking to this domain a lot?" etc etc.

    And yet another reason for the change is that authority sites WILL NOT link to an adult niche oriented sites, it just does not happen, I have offered thousands for one single fu#%&ng link and been denied on sites like The Chive, HuffPost, Break etc. etc. that I know 110% post authors sell article links as I have many peeps in the industry (no I will not give an example or set you up with my contacts). I was denied every single time though politely. "I just can't do it man" "Dang man I would love to but I can't link to that" "How about I link to one of your web 2.0 sfw instead" etc etc etc. LOL

    So I said to myself, self... f**k it let's do this and see what happens...

    Details coming soon, what do you think, a couple weeks? Month? 6 months? To see what is going to happen... I need to smoke a big bowl and just relax I am wound up tighter than a frogs butt hole about this one.

    I will keep everyone updated on my project as it plays out.

    Cheers Mates!

    Good luck with the journey! So instead of buying links, you just bough a site they had all linked to?

    And it's true that it's harder to rank an adult site, even the auto suggest is filtered and censored - so it's getting trickier to rank for high volume adult keywords.

    Yeah, times are definitely changing... Pornhub and Xvideos does not have a problem because they have a massive link profile that non other can even come close to... the funny thing is like this:

    (just an example)
    Term = Midget Sex
    You may own the site MidgetSex.com but Porn Hub, Xvideos and the top ballers of the industry will fill the first page with all their links even search result pages lol all the pages have like 0 links to the pages but because the main domain is a beast they are taking up the entire first page regardless of your adult EMD with so so link profile and specialty in the niche.

    I wish we could go back to the 90's and early 2000's when you could make a million a month with your finger up your butt in Cancun. ;)
