    Hi everyone,

I keep getting these emails in my hotmail/outlook inbox saying "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)". I click on it and there is about 10 recipients, it has an attachment on the email saying something like "no regrets...".

Then I go to my sent folder, and I have sent lots and lots of spam emails, I haven't sent them, so I thought I have been hacked. So I change my password and its still happening.

I then thought maybe I have a keylogger on my PC, but that can't be possible as all my other accounts are fine. My PayPal is fine, so is my other hotmail account, basically everything else is fine.

I don't get WTF is happening, has this happened to anyone before, any ideas?

    Thanks.

I'd just set up a filter rule so "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" goes straight to Junk and just forget about it - or is it your main email?

It's not my main email, but it has my PayPal account linked to it, thats why I am worried. The PayPal account shares the same password and nothing has happened to that. Its like someone knows how to send emails from my account without signing in, is that possible?

I would contact hotmail/outlook but I can't seem to find their support, LOL they seem to have support for every specific product of theirs. Do you they actually have any support? :)

its an email virus mate, it scans through your contacts and send spam mails in random times, i had exactly the same issue - i had to remove my hotmail account from outlook and them cleared my contact (of course back them up first) and finally changed my password....

Other possible causes can be repeated phising, or sniffing. But above one seems more likely the cause.
