I am in a band called Brick + Mortar and we just released a music video that we shot with our friends (all very talented and we don't deserve them) and it came out great. We have about 40k plays from our fans and I want to show it to more of the world so to speak. The problem I have is that the music video hosted on VEVO, so since its not my youtube account, its through VEVO this means that adwords might not be able to let me run a campaign without VEVO approval which takes FOREVER! Are there any other alternative free or pay ways to gain exposure for the music video like adwords?I am looking to get it in from of people not just pay for plays. I can post a link to the music video if you want, I didn't want to post it in case you guys considered that spam. -Brandon

Forgive me but I'm a bit confused, you asking how you can make money with the video or just gain more exposure to it? If you want more exposure I suggest hitting up some of the brands you used in the video and sending them a shout out thanking them for just being them in hopes you can get a bit of free cross publicity going, example if you used xyz drum sticks, hit em' up, "Man I gotta tell you we love your sticks! We recently got our vid on VEVO and we couldn't have done it without xyz. Please know how grateful we are and check out how much you've helped us when you get a chance, the link to our videos below"
Then give them your link. This way you're not coming off spammy but honest in the role they played to make a success like yours happy. Anyhow best of luck and congrats!
I mean getting people seeing the video on a mass scale. Therefore hopefully gaining a fan out of one or two. I wanted to run adwords because i know that gets your video in from of people but I can't because of VEVO. I was trying to take the promotion of this video in my own hands if I can and find a good service or way to gain real fans. I know this might be impossible but figured i would ask.

You can pay to an admin of a popular group on facebook for adv. The main word is self promoting - you should put it everywherem but I suggest you to target a social networks. You can contact me on skype if you need help with that or ask something.
