    Hey guys,

I have done it all. Added unique content, linked the site to HIGH PR websites. What to do next? I am a bit short of reaching the first page, and it would definitely help if you can guide me on what steps to take next to bring me that close to my goal. Good information will definitely be thanked!

    1) On-site SEO. If you're using wordpress, it's extremely easy (make sure you're using some sort of all in one seo plugin, also I highly recommend 'SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2')

    2) Backlinking. Get more and more backlinks. The more the better.

    3) Social Networks. Submit everyone one of your posts to social networks (digg, reddit, stumbleupon, mixx, etc). These are free backlinks and if you have nice content can drive additional traffic

    4) More content. Content and backlinks are the 2 things you can never have too much off. The more the merrier.

    5) Time. Google values the age of your website. The older it is, the more 'reliable' it is viewed as. I've found that it usually takes around 2-3 months for one of my new sites to finally hit that front page and stay there.

If you've made it to the second page then basically you're already doing what you need to do. Just keep doing more of the same thing and you'll get there. Especially the things like adding more updates and content, getting more backlinks from authority sites and other high pr sites. Just continue on the plan you've been working and you should keep rising in the serp.

It is very simple. Build more links with anchor text for the search term that you want to rank for.

Do not get frustrated especially when you will get the Google dance... it is actually a sign that Google noticed your links and "re-organizing" the rankings.

Set target of link building per day/week/month and stick to it... you will get to page 1.
