Screw the gym, do yoga in the morning followed by a protein shake.

Follow that up with some rice, broccoli, and chicken for lunch (easy as hell and cheap).

Then eat whatever the hell you want for dinner.

Do squats and pull ups once and hour and you are good to go.

it just happens, she's my neighbor. I mean, I could almost throw a rock and hit her house.

There are several places like this around the country. I imagine most any of them offer the same choices and have similar pricing.

The benefit to something like this is, it's not packaged/prepared food. It's fresh and put up in little trays you just have to open and heat. Kinda like "meals on wheels." LOL

Or, if there are decent restaurants in your area, you could make a deal with one of them to make you some pretty healthy meals and deliver them at certain times each day.

All in all, it'll work out to not being that much more expensive than pizza, chinese or any other carry out/fast food, in the long run.

If you REALLY want to shop and cook for yourself, you have to make a conscious effort to do it and stick to the plan. There are millions of healthy recipes you can find online, if you're up to the actual shopping and meal prep.

    Eat protein :).

i just bought a nice home gym yesterday which will save me the hassle of going to the gym and will be able to spend more time on the puter. :D

As for eating healthy, just go to the local supermarket and choose all your favorite foods which are low in fat and you will notice that you will start to feel better.I gave up on the fast food mths ago.

I'm a firm believer in 6 fist-sized mini-meals a day. Stay away from soda. Lots of fresh, unmicrowaved vegetables. If you eat flesh, look into more fish and chicken. Some grains to keep motion in the ocean. Eat simple. Eat slow. Eat frequently. Also, stay hydrated.

weight lift and use a lot of protein, buy meal replacement bars if you have to but try to eat as raw and as healthy as possible. 6-7 small meals during the day will help you lose weight. If you want to lose weight follow the following 3 commandments :
    1. Weight Train atleast 3 times a week
    2. Eat a lot of protein (whey)
    3. Cut the calories, try eating low calory foods

Eating healthy is not only the thing you need done, so out doors would do you some good mentally too. I find it irritating sitting for so long on the computer, must go out for a walk, smoke, or with the dog... Makes u relax a bit and gets you some exercise.

Just take regular breaks from your computer to do some work, a few push ups or sit ups while you take a short 15-30 minute break from the computer.

    Here's the best diet:

Eat 6 mini meals a day.

Have a huge plastic bag full of chicken breast and whole wheat bread rounded into small balls, then eat them like a snack. Have an apple or two per day too.
That's a good diet for working out.

Stir fries are great. Buy loads of vegetables that you like, either learn to make sauces or buy some jars. Chop up veg, boil up some noodles (or use straight to wok if you are really lazy) fry and away you go. Also Oldenstylehat's advice is extremely good, eating little and often sets your metabolism on fire and puts your body under a lot less pressure. Great for keeping off the pounds, keeping up your concentration for BH and helping you feel good. I'd recommend 3L a day of water (2 big bottles), especially if you do exercise.

6 meals doesn't mean you have to cook 6 meals, some of these can literally be half a sandwich or a bowl of oats with fruit. Split big meals you eat into 2, if you eat lunch at 12pm, save some for 3pm and eat again then. Try not to go for more than 3 hours without eating.

All of this will be in vain if you don't start training in something. Find anything physical that you enjoy and go do it! If you feel like doing some pushups, get up from your desk and do them right there, waiting will only make you forget and procrastinate. I say do something you enjoy because like BH, if you just do what everyone else does or try to do the "best thing" (like pumping weights in a gym), chances are you'll never get anywhere, either because you aren't motivated to try as hard or because you'll just give up.

If you enjoy what you do, chances are you'll be better at it AND stick at it. This also rings true for your healthy eating, make sure you still enjoy your food. Make sure it tastes good as well as be good for you otherwise you will drive yourself mad and give up!

This is what you do, and I do it and its healthy, get yourself a slow cooker and a casserole recipe book, make some casseroles in the slow cooker they take about 6-8 hours to cook but they are nice and healthy, and the best bit is after the smell of letting it cook all day, by the time it is cooked and you will be starving, get yourself some salad bits for lunch and get yourself some weights for while your sitting at the computer to do little work outs. It's all lazy and you still get your work done on the computer.

Cant believe noone has said this yet....THERE ISN'T HALF-ARSED EASY SOLUTIONS. You just need to get down and cracking. What you could consider is making 3 kilos of cooked pasta each week, with equivalent sauce. Put it in the fridge and heat it in the microwave when you need it. That's what I used to do...I used to spend half a day on a sunday preparing meals for the week.

That's if you're serious about growing big boy muscles. And the homegym stuff will work only if you have arms the size of your own wrist.

Takeaways are shit n high in transfat. No good. Do your homecooking; all you need to do is put the stove on low heat for the beef to cook thoroughly while you surf!! and dont eat all that whey, protein bars and what else powder you can find in GNC. REAL FOOD for a REAL HUMAN.
