Ok, I'm in a bad spot and looking for some serious advice.

I work with really only 3 different affiliates for my e-whoiring, they are just the best ones I have found that I feel convert well, but then on top of it always pay.

One of the 3 I use a great deal, because they pay me $5 per free join I get, with no cc verification. This is because their pps was so high, and I was getting way to many free join ticking time bombs for them (where they would have to pay out if the frees ever signed up for a paid), so, they made me this offer.

I've been working with them for over 2 years. Never once talked on the phone with them, pretty much ignore thier emails, I'm an army of one kinda guy and like to be left alone, and they've always accepted that.

They owed me 22k for one 2 week period back in may, I was sweating it. They paid. I was elated, and trust them completely after that.

    NOW FOR THE PROBLEM

So, I have been getting INSANELY horrible conversions lately. I mean we're talking me going from 1 in 20-30....to 1 in 250-400!

So I'm like "Wtf", it was going beyond me thinking the traffic was bad concerns, into me thinking somethings just not right.

I went end ended up going and signing up from a different ip address using a yahoo email account, and using a tracking campain code to see if everything was working. Made the free account, logged in, verified the email, even clicked around the site a bit. No credit was given. no $5

(by the way I checked and everything in the linking was correct)

Then, I went and said "Hmm, maybe they went and changed it to be only from "real" emails. So i made another one, once again cloaking myself, from a domain name email account I have (a real one not like yahoo). Did the whole things again. Still, no credit.

So, wtf is going on? The thing is, I still an getting some very very sad and sorry amount of free joins that are getting credit, but what could be making this happen?

I dont want to confront the site affiliate manager until I get paid for the last 2 weeks, they owe me like 2.5k for 8/1-8/15. But i dont know what to else to do because I'm burning resources and not getting my fair share.

    Any ideas?

You dont have to go in all guns blazing with "WTF is going on!" Surely just speak to your AM ask him if there are any issues, ask him how your traffic is etc although by being an island for the last 2 years you've made that task harder.

Right. The best thing is to actually talk to them. You've been with them for 2+ years sure that's got to help.

But what'll help even more is actual communication.

Yeah that's what my game plan was, was to wait to get paid here in about a week, and then go and confront them. You know, with a great deal as they give me, the lure of going and simply signing up for free joins myself for $5 a pop has always been strong, but I am as honorable as to never even have gone down that route. And they have to know that.

So I will wait to get paid, Start letting the traffic flow somewhere else from now until then, and then go and confront them and see what they say. I am just really shocked at all of this after two years, hoping its just a glitch.

Do you think they will get angry at me or question me for having done those two test $5 per free sign ups ?
Like go and say "You did that now, test purposes or not, how can we trust you in the future?"

If anyone was curious, or looking at this post, the affiliate ended up paying. I confronted them about it, and it ends up it was something on their end, that they fixed. Bow everything seems to be back to normal.
They offered to compensate me for the trouble, but what they are offering doesn't seem like its worthwhile per say. But its better than nothing i guess.
Anyways, there's the update and finality.
