Do you think that is too much?

Do you a free tool to fasten this process safely?

I am hoping to become more fluent over time and each link has an anchor text.

You need to stop right now and learn about local SEO.
You are going to kill that business website, unless these "links" are citations.

If you do not know what citations are, you REALLY need to stop

    Local is different.

    ^ This

100 links per day for a new online venture website is already way too much, but for a new local SEO site? you cant be serious.

Read the following guide, until then stop everything. you are just destroying your clients site.

PS: and dont use some freaking link building tools on a business site!

Do you think building 100 links to a brand new local site is natural looking?

Is there a specific number which is appropriate? The business offers services for the whole UK and may also offer the services to Europe (at least a small part of it).

I have slowed down to 30 links per day (not citations yet)

What part of stop do you not understand?

DO NOT BUILD LINKS TO A SMALL BUSINESS WEBSITE YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DISAVOW THEM

Is there enough traffic to this website for it to seem natural for it to be pulling 30 links a day from the Internet?

Small businesses do not build links, they build business connections.

traffic is about 30 visits per day

I am confused. SEO is all about link building. Why is it bad to build links on higher PR sites to a business with regular visits per day ?

Why should businesses not do SEO?

Our goal is to use our website also as an educational platform through our blog. We post a lot of material to people to read and learn about our product.

SEO isn't about backlinking, like you think it is. There is a ton more about it, especially when dealing with a brick and mortar business.

That is why I asked if it was, first. What you are doing is setting up your business site for an unnatural links penalty.

You are not building a churn and burn site, you are building a long term business investment. Setting it up to get torpedoed when everything is finally ranking is foolish, but that is exactly what you are doing.

If this is not for a local business, then disregard my comments, if it is, backlinks are your enemy except in a very limited capacity.

When a local business qualifies for the local algorithm, they get special consideration in the local search algorithm, and the playing fild is tilted in their favor. (seriously in their Favor). When done correctly, you will out rank national players when a search has local connotations.

BUT, you must do the SEO in a particular manner to get the local algorithm, you need to act like a local business, not an IMer.

What you are doing to your business site should be done to your business tumbler (whatever 2.0 you choose) page that links to you so it can be removed if an unnatural links penalty occurs.

Local businesses need a few, very high quality links, citations, and reviews to rank.

A local business that gets 100 links a day is a rare as flawless blue diamonds.

Yeah, only Hubspot "Enterprise" agencies that re-brand as "inbound marketers" (and spend $2,400+ a month) get Google love these days :)

Interesting. I currently working for my own business store but I'm not sure if mine is categorized as local business or not. I have a mom and pop store selling clothes for women. Does this categorize as a local business? I don't think people would ever search Nice t-shirts in Conway or anything like that right? I mainly sell through my websites and send the goods through mails. Any idea?

Do you sell from a brick and mortar location or have an online store, or both?

Yes it is dangerous. I have UK-wide sites never built more than 3-5 links per week. No need to worry about getting links, SEO is changed. to make google happy is much more difficult and complicated than making woman happy.

Absolutely, and you also gotta post regularly on MOZ and be active at Inbound.org and you should praise Rand Fishkin.
