I am creating 1 web 2.0 property everyday and each time I am linking my keywords to each of the other web2.0 properties and then I am also linking a keyword on each property back to my money site.

Do you think this will do well to get traffic to my forum site?

Currently I have no members and I just created my site within the past week. Should I be doing other things too? Should I change my site? Add anything to it? All the feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    here is my site

best thing to do with forums is pay for people to get conversations going, so pay people for posting good quality threads and posts.

Then you need to SEO that forum quickly... people will see not many discussions and just dissapear.

Also... the web 2.0 sites won't get you traffic at all, they'll just help in rankings. not drive traffic.

Where can I find people to pay and have conversations and how much would it cost me?

Digital point... little freelancer sites.. or do it yourself by creating usernames and creating coversations.. but thats your best bet, make it look popular then it starts to grow.

I dont think this kind of effort will work for your forum site.forum sites are kinda different you should buy some banner advertisements and paid posters to make it active .

    This.

I would search for your top 5 most popular topics within the niche, create a thread about each one with 5 different user names, and then proceed to start a conversion with yourself, basically.

It wouldn't hurt to SB blast the threads, either.

One web 2.0 is not enough, you should look at link pyramid or link push. You can get many link strategies here.

When you link to your money site from those different web2.0 i would recommend to grab the url of the web2.0 entries/posts and publish it on different soc bookmarks. Then grab the url of the published thing on the soc bookmark and ping it.
    This should work fine

Also there is a theory that having your links all pointing to each other leaves an ovbious footprint. Going forward I would suggest not pointing your web 2.0's to each other and simply point it to your money site.

As you get a little time or budget then start linking blog posts articles, forum profiles etc... to the web 2.0's to get them a little authority...

You may also want to have someone post a ton of scraped content (under different usernames of course) so it looks like your forum is really active; there are people that can provide this service, but I don't have any that I can recommend.

Yeah for a forum to take off you want some good content to be there seeded initially

can use softwares like some forum content scraper and poster just search using google or warez-bb. i had them before but don't remember the exact name.
(Download with caution cos few will contain virus so its always wise to read the whole comments / replies in those threads before downloading) :)

    hope that helps,
    thanks

You aren't gonna get traffic by setting up Web 2.0's

Sure you may slightly increase your rankings, which in turn could bring search engine visitors. But, traffic from the Web 2.0's highly unlikely unless your engaged with the community.

I'd recommend building the necessary content so that when people see your forum they will want to sign up and contribute. Otherwise it will stay dormant.

Get involved in YOUR forums community. Follow the important people on twitter and engage in the conversations. Make people NEED to visit your forum since the quality is simply the best.

Forums Take A Lot Of Time To Gain Reputation And Members, And With A Niche As Big As Gaming.
