Hi guys.. I am very confused with Copyright, in general.. I would like create a Anime & Manga web-site.
First.. Can I upload and streaming the episodes about saga of cartoon?
Then, I would like a create a section of HD Wallpaper and I wish have various anime, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball etc.
Now.. The images are in Google images and for you, could I have some problem with Copyright? And then, in general, in other web-site not anime, there is a possible to have problem with copyright if I take the pics on google images?
    Many thanks.

You can use google advanced search and on the "usage rights" field select "free to use share or modify even commercially". These images are safe to use. If the author of the images/videos didn't give you permission to use his work you might lose your website. You might be able to get away with it for some time but sooner or later someone will send you dmca complaint

It 's simple, they take the risk. Usually no one bothers with the small fish. It 's just that a few unlucky ones get slapped hard. So, your question is - do I want to take the chance?

I like what Jazzc had to say, because it's true. It a risk to do a direct copy of someones work without permission.

W130SN is right too. If you don't have permission, then you legally cannot post it. very true.

    HOWEVER

I see it like this. You can curate content. If you think creatively and come up with a way to host the content in a different formate other than simply making it a streaming movie site, then you are less likely to be slapped hard when you start getting a lot of attention. BUT if you change the original content enough, you sill not have any problems.

    Example would be:

Ray William Johnson. YouTube =3, he does commentary on viral YT videos and makes it original content.

so he is reposting popular, funny, in demand videos, and adding to them.

You could try and make your Anime site like this. What if you hosted an episode and wrote a review to each episode. It could be short too. you could even add a sound cloud plugin that has your vocal commentary talking about each video.

If you consider yourself a big fan of a series, you could be an "expert" commentator on the shows. I like Gundam Wing and could talk for days about that show. So, imagine something like what directors do on DVDs. They have the whole movie going on with them talking about all kinds of stuff in the movie. Think about the guys on YT that play COD or GoW with a camera on their face. they do 30min videos each day about them playing a game. you can watch them play a talk and give commentary on the game. PEOPLE WATCH THAT STUFF. lol

ALL I'M SAYING IS THIS. Think creatively about how you can get around the copyright issue. if you change up the Original (Wallpapers) artwork enough (30-60% I forget) and do a commentary of the video, then you've changed the continent enough to sidestep the copy right.

BRO I could talk for days on how you could build a website that sidesteps these issues, and ADDS VALUE to the site. Making your site WAY more unique and most likely able to drive more traffic.

    I hope this helps.

BTW You've inspired me to make a video about this topic. It will be up tomorrow June 24. Search YouTube for TOTD #011 I'm Jeff from OnlineMediaBroker

Hy, OMBbro i have watched some of your YT videos and it seems you are an experienced Internet Marketer, you could help this community a lot with your advices.
But how about the ''FRIKK'' YT Channel, i think he downloaded a lot of his videos from other channels and reuploaded them to his channel and it's monetized them but YT is okay with that. Why?
