I have read and heard that no matter who or where you buy your followers from they are all fake. Is this true? Are there any legit services that get you 1000s of real followers?

The reason I ask is that I see 100s of accounts with 50k or 100k or more followers and their photos are only getting 300 likes. They obviously bought the followers but their followers never go down. I have monitored a few of them for weeks now. Are they using a service that refills the followers? Just looking for a final answer on this.

I'm not sure about the answer to your question, but out of honest curiosity, why would you (or someone) want this? Even you mentioned people with 100k followers get only 300 likes. What's the benefit to this?

That is what I am wondering myself. I don't understand how they got that far without getting banned as well as how they keep their following count so high. I also wanted to know if there were any way to buy legit followers but I think I know the answer.

Most of the followers are fake. The biggest drawback is that it decrease within a seconds as it increases. There are so many tools available in the market to increase the instagram followers. You are right, there are many people who have followers in the limit of thousands but they get clicks in hundreds. This is the big drawback for getting online followers.

So maybe they aren't sticking they are just buying more. Some of these panels say "permanent followers with refills" but who knows. I was just confused by the point of it unless it is just to trick users who don't know any better.

Why? Because to make it look "legit". And sell shouts to people who fell for it, and sell the accounts out to uneducated buyers. Lots of reasons.

Just check the BST and you'll know, depending on the price, you will get refill.

Another reason is that some people, or companies, want that "legit" feel of having 10K, 100K or more "followers".
    It's a vanity thing.

It's also known as seeding, nobody will join any type of social media if you have 10 followers, but legit people will join if you have 100,000.
Gradually over time the account will grow with genuine ones

Could be old accounts filled with old inactive followers/ ghost followers. Its not easy to maintain engagement as you get bigger

or those SFS 24/7 accounts :D

Buying fakes or HQ real followers are all the same. Either bots or users( cash or virtual goods via spam) paid to follow you.

These are easier to track cause their SocialBlade accounts are full of red (losing followers almost everyday).

Most of the answers here are overthought. Yes, it could be seeding.. it could be a scam in order to sell the account or sell shoutouts... but 99% of the time, its just an idiot who has no idea how the world works, and thought that if he dropped a little money on buying followers he would have a popular IG account and be cool, having no understanding of the detrimental effects of fake followers.

But I would say even 90 percent of the big accounts have some fake followers. Some of them have 2M followers and 50k likes. That is a terrible engagement ratio when some accounts have 50k likes with 500k followers or less. Or am I wrong or guessing this?

What do you mean getting stuck at a follow point? How would fakes help this? Just by boosting your numbers and hoping that more ppl start following you with 30k instead of 24k?

Like a bot? Or someone who actually handles your accounts? I heard that shout outs don't really work anymore. True?

Yes thats true. It really depends on the specifics of the account. If for example we're looking at a large brand, some like kind of popular household cleaning supply, then what they did is likely buy a bunch of fake followers, make 100 posts, buy fake likes and comments on those posts, and then start spending a bunch of money doing native IG / FB advertising to build a real following on top of that, giving people the impression the page is already popular. For every large brand that does that though, there are 99 freelance photographers/musicians/etc that just buy 200k followers and thats it, which is why they have 200k followers and get 70 likes per photo. That's what I mean by 99% of the time. Those guys just have no idea what is going on, and thought for a couple hundred bucks they could look legit and popular.
