I uploaded the video in question less than 24 hours ago and it got close 40 000 views, lots of comments and thumbs up and still going strong. Now I am really scared I will miss something or get a copyright claim.

I do not own the material I have used, but it is filmed in a small asian country by a family who I doubt have copyrighted their video, and I do not think it was on youtube before I uploaded it. I have also done some modifications to the video like adding music, sound effects, some visuals of my own design.

How good is 40 000 views in 24 hours? Which steps can I take to protect the video? The content ID copyright bots should already have cleared the video at this point right? Any other tips or tricks for a newbie in this situation?

I am sorry if I noob my way in here and post something that has been done a thousand times before, I could just really use the money from a successful youtube video and I am a complete wreck about something going wrong right now.

Anything is automatically copyrighted, however you just need to hope they don't see it.
