Something I noticed just today after long time in the SEO business.

Yesterday I registered a new domain and created an SEO article for front page.
It's been almost 24 hours - And the site is now cached. BUT:

Google visited the site a few times (googlebot) and the site cached - BUT DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE SEARCH RESULTS.
Not for the domain name (w/wo quotes) and does not appear in "info:" nor "site:".

So I take everything I said before back - New domains sandbox is not a myth.
I assume it will get there in the next few hours... But the box does exist =)

there surely is a sandbox. I was sandboxed a few times. How else do you explain the visits go down from 250 to 2-3 a day?

Being punished by Google is something else.
Site dropping to page 30 happens many times but these sites are still indexed if you look for them as mentioned in the original post.

Being cached and not indexed though - Is a sandbox.
In many other domains I've done the exact same indexing method - I was indexed within hours to 24H max, but never cached before indexed.

I don't honestly know how anyone who's ever done SEO, or even owned a website can say theres no sandbox?

People smarter than you, and me - Has said the exact same thing and I answered exactly like you. So apparently being a smartass is not good for business.
