Ever since joining BHW I have changed my mindset and perspective towards being an entrepreneur. I have learned a lot and continue to do so. I am by no means making the $1,000 days but I will not give up reaching them.

I used to have a kid (18 yrs old) work for me. He was heading down the wrong road, running with the wrong crowds, drugs, and some criminal activity. I used talk to him everyday he worked about his future and almost being a coach for him. I would talk about business (a lot that I learned here) and how much this world offers other than what he was doing. He seemed so interested and wanted to change.

I have since moved on to another position. But I received a call the other day from him. I was surprised to hear from him. He called to "thank me". He thanked me for sharing with him the entrepreneurial mindset. He is now in a D1 school majoring in business minoring in marketing and already has placement lined up next summer.

To some that might not seem like a goal because no money was involved. But I would rather save 1 person from ending up in jail or even worse, dead, then to make a quick a buck.
