Hi Guys! I have a question and I hope you guys can help me out to find the best solution, this is the case:

I have a business in Mexico that gives service to people in the US and Canada, all the customers are there. My extension is let's say:

free-puppies.com and i have it for the last 6 years. I want to change it to something like puppies.mx and redirect the old one to this one and make SEO campaing for the .mx as i understand it's better to avoid using the - in the domain name.

    Question is:

Is it worth to have a smaller domain and .mx ltd if I want people in the US find me? or Should I stay with the .com ltd and larger domain name with the - on it??

Hope you guys can help me

Stick with the .com if you're targeting the US. If you want to target people in Mexico the use the .mx extension - this goes for other countries and TLDs as well.
