I want to kick this marketing thing into overdrive. I really really don't want to work my 9-5 anymore but I understand that it takes time and dedication to get to that level. I'm an absolute noob to clickbank. I enter the door with a bare bones understanding of traffic and different ways to help build traffic.

Where should I begin to give myself the proper education that is needed and for the cheapest amount of money (free?)? I am willing to purchase the deal at clickbankuniversity but not if nots worth it, or I could spend time and get better value somewhere else. Help guide me to the right places so I can begin making real money. Thanks.

Welcome Brodel!

This forum is a very GOOD place to start...spend some time reading as much as you can from the clickbank section, but make sure that you do not suffer from paralysis by analysis. In other words, it is good to research and plan, but the key is to take action. You may fail in your first attempts, but you'll learn more by doing and failing, rather than simply reading on the methods.

With the first methods you'll choose, it would be a good idea to focus on your current skills. E.g. are you good at writing? If so, write 5-15 high quality articles and build an MNS niche. Do you have a good understand of social traffic? If so, work with fb, twitter, pinterest, and facebook. You do not have to do everything yourself; outsource tasks or JV with someone over here.

Do have a read through this thread:

I had started it as a post about how to choose clickbank products (as it tends to be a very common pitfall among beginners) but it evolved beyond that and in it you'll find a discussion about lots of aspects of clickbank marketing.

Best wishes,
Mancar

After doing Clickbank for 5 years and basically breaking even in that time, I have learned A LOT to say the least. The one thing I started to do a month ago that I have not done in the past was to start to build a list. I make more money with my new list than I have in the previous year trying various things such as Adwords, bingads, article marketing and so on.

There are tons of forums on hear about list building, how to do it, where to start (solo ads) and whatnot.

And to Mancars post above "take action"!

I had a lot of people on here tell me doing solo ads to build my list was not going to work or not be worth the money but I have been very successful with them so the point I build my list by hundreds a day and make sales in the process. Today alone I made $67 already and had 97 people added to my list. it is now 9:32am Central Time.

But the main thing you need to know being a beginner is in fact....TAKE ACTION! You can do all the studying in the forum you want but if that is all you do you will not succeed.

The best of luck to you!
Ryan

You should think of your own CB method. If the method is posted here or selling somwhere else, it will become saturated very quickly.
Also be prepared to spend some money before you learn what works and what doesn't. Definitely read some threads on this forum, but just for inspiration.

You said that you're noob to clickbank. Do you have experience with anything else?

Always stick to 1 method at first until you start making some money. When I first started I was bouncing methods and failing.

Always choose products that have a good gravity rate

Some ways you could get traffic is through SEO or Youtube.

ive made a nice chunk on fiverr mainly from my soundcloud gig that got very popular. fiverr ended up removing my gig about 9 months ago but let me keep a new one just like it. i still get some buisiness from my grassroots clients but it is nowhere near what it was.

i have a few social media accounts.. some have been building for years. im newer to instagram building, but thats where ive been spending a lot of time lately.

Thanks for all the other comments too...keep em coming.
