HUGE wordpress problem!

    hello

    Whenever i try to make a text a hyperlink on wordpress the actual link is redirected to this page: http://en.wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/

    Can somebody please tell me what iam doing wrong, and what i should do to make the links actually go to the page that i link them to?

    try creating a manual link. Do you end up with the same problem?

    Are you talking about a blog that is hosted on wordpress.com? They change all links to that address if you break their terms of service.

    Double check that you've got the full correct URL in your link & that it's a live link. Do you get the same issue if you go into the html tab & type your link in?

    I make the link by selecting the word i want to hyperlink and then i use the link function to insert a link.
    The blog is hosted on wordpress.com and it is about moneymaking. Is that a violation of their terms?

    Yes they don't really like affiliate posts on there. From their "types of blogs" page:
    You're better off just installing WP itself on your own hosting then you can do whatever you want with it.

    If you are low on cash, you can get hostgator for the first month free. And purchase a .info for $2.00. I know HG is not the best hosting. But it is a lot better than wordpress.com. If you need help installing wordpress on HG just pm me. Ill give you a hand.

    you can download all your posts and install your own wp on any paid or free hosting site

    if u dnt wanna do that then you should try blogspot
    i guess they are not so strict
