This is what I noticed. When you get a few orders a day, you are most likely to get more orders the day after. However, if for some reason you don't get orders the next day (or many), then you are unlikely to get lots of orders again.

I read somewhere that fiverr changed to their old way of ranking gigs on searches, that is probably the reason for you business unluckiness...

I don't get it. Why are you underselling yourself on fiverr?

Even if you get 20 completed orders a day... thats $40 for all that work.
I can understand if its for seed money for things such as domains, hosting, tools etc but man you can make more out there.

If you think like that it's cause you haven't understood what fiverr is all about...
You are not seeing clearly when you say "thats $** for all that work", what you should be saying is "thats $** doing almost nothing".
If you are smart you can get some extra cash from fiverr just by copy pasting and making couple clicks.
Fiverr is all about doing the least possible while making it sell, being useful and interesting to buyers.
If you set your own business you have to provide quality and consequent hard work, such isn't needed when you provide a 5$ job.
    Quantity over quality.
    Cheers!

I don't care how many gigs you get on fiverr... but I can tell you one thing, no way will you make 100k+ a year on fiverr... maybe when pigs fly.

<sarcasm> This is the queue for you to start jumping </sarcasm>

$20/$40/etc etc Do you see why I think fiverr money is garbage?

If you're that hard on cash write an article for MR.E and make an additional 20%

You are not supposed to make 100k+ a year with fiverr, you are comparing 2 completely different things...
One is to run your own business, other is to be a freelancer and most important one doesn't prevent the other.
People only undersell them selves on fiverr if they want to, they can easily oversell themselves and still make it look like a bargain...
    It's all about perspective...

Don't have much else to add to this. Fiverr is a great way to make extra cash money without any stress. People go in to Fiverr expecting to not even get their order completed at all, and 90% of the time they don't even expect a report. If people ask you questions, you don't need to worry about responding if you dont want, because customer service isn't the name of the game. Delivering results is all the buyers usually care about. Some people don't NEED to make 100k per year. Some people are perfectly happy making a few bucks cash per day, with little to no stress, and no BOSS and no b*tchy clients to worry about.

BigEazy. I make like $1000-$1500 a month on fiverr just by doing about an hour a day of actual work. This is enough to pay for rent, which is something I dont scoff at. Its only one tool in the arsenal. I appreciate the fact that you dont see the value in fiverr because it leaves more money on the table for everyone else.:ciao::ciao::ciao:

On the twitter they said they will be releasing some new information about this, in reply to someone who was asking the same thing.

Whoever said you cant make decent money on fiverr really shouldn't be in business, i make 2k a week on fiverr, and no im not talking out my backside, You find a product that sells well and overdeliver to customers, REPEAT custom is what makes you $$$$ on fiverr, ive had 40 orders today so far and its 10am here.

When a customer buys a product you use your sales skills to upsell to something bigger, some of my customers buy 6 gigs for 1 gig. You need to work smart.

    cheers

Link to your Gig? I don't believe there is enough customers on Fiverr to support 2k per week. Can you show the gig with 40 orders in queue?

Edit: I see you are (or at least claiming to be) this person: http://fiverr.com/jimmyjam1983

I still don't believe 2k per week, but it does seem you make some good money through some bizarre sales tactics.

Edit again: How exactly do you convince people that your services are worth what they are paying? Do you not feel like you are ripping them off? For a fiverr, they aren't the worst, but people shouldn't be paying more than a fiverr for them. I dont get it.

Edit for the 3rd time... Ok now just wtf is going on here. I looked at your buyers feed back, and some of them ordered like 100+ times. There is no way you are convincing someone your gigs are worth $500+.... This one user imationx appears to have paid for over $1000.00 or something. Well it is easier to make 2k in 1 week when 1 user pays you around $1000 or more.

Care to explain what is going on?
