There is this big website, TV network website and they have lots of subdomains with lots of different topics like health, entertainment and such. I was just looking one topic up in my own language and realized that I already read that but, on a different place. As it turns out, they legit copied the articles just translated and they basically claimed that as their own as there are no links to the original content or anything similar. I looked a few more articles and within SECONDS I found the exact same articles that are written in English.

Question is - can I do something about it and should I?

On the other note, they also have a TV show where they show funny videos from YouTube. I highly doubt it that they bought the rights not to only show them on air, but to monetize with more TV commercials and such and they don't even credit YouTube nor the original author. Can I and should I act?

If it is translated it is a unique content as there are people that can't speak both languages.

Now if it is mechanically translated it can give poor experience to the readers, otherwise, I think that they have done well translating this.

Also, Hawkster is right... You won't get anything, why would you do something about it... while even you have doubts if it is right or wrong.

Many will report it just cause they think: "It's not important if I will get something from it but that I will cause harm to someone and I will make his path harder" - pure hate.

    Yeah, I guess.

It's good translation. The thing that troubles is me is that they don't give any credits to the original author and even worse, they claim that they own the content. I guess I'll just leave it alone then, let them be since there isn't really a good way to try to fight this. And just to be clear - I'm not jealous, but the journalism in this country is a fucking joke and now that I found out that they are stealing content from others... eh. It wouldn't hurt them to provide a link to the original article.

Same story in Croatia, all online news are just translated from bigger english websites. Problem is they don't even bother to translate it propperly so comments are always filled with people making fun of them for their translation.
