I hired someone to write an article on huffington post. I am aware that anyone can write anything on huff post but this guy seemed legit. I checked a few previous articles that he wrote and they all indexed in google. So I hired him and the article FINALLY got published (After a long time) but when I checked the page source, it has the tags to let google know "do not index, do not follow this page" his other articles that I checked do not have this. I dont understand why this is happening? is it because the article is too new and I should just wait? I remember reading somewhere if an article gets a lot of traffic, huff post removes the tags so the article gets indexed. should I send the article some fake traffic? how would I do that?
