I hired someone to write an article on huffington post. I am aware that anyone can write anything on huff post but this guy seemed legit. I checked a few previous articles that he wrote and they all indexed in google.

So I hired him and the article FINALLY got published (After a long time)
but when I checked the page source, it has the tags to let google know "do not index, do not follow this page"

his other articles that I checked do not have this.

I dont understand why this is happening? is it because the article is too new and I should just wait?
I remember reading somewhere if an article gets a lot of traffic, huff post removes the tags so the article gets indexed. should I send the article some fake traffic? how would I do that?

If he agreed to provide you an indexed do-follow article then ask for your money back.

Yup. Was the agreement that the post NOT be marked noindex, nofollow? If so, then your guy didn't carry out his part of the deal, and you should insist on a refund.

If nothing was discussed about whether the page would be indexed, and whether or not the link would be followed, then you're kind of out of luck. Before buying any type of link you should know in ADVANCE whether the link is going to be followed or not. You need to talk to the seller, not BHW.

well, we never talked about getting indexed because I figured since his other articles were indexed, this shouldn't be a problem. I am so scrwed, I have to pay a lot of money for a useless article.
all his other articles that I checked are indexed. WHY THE FUCK did they put that tag on my article so it doesn't get indexed? FUCK huffington post.
how can I send the article some fake traffic? I remember reading somewhere if the article gets traffic, they will remove the tag.

Only writers with a certain reputation can post indexable articles on Huffpo. All others can only post noindex nofollow articles.

You can share it on FB in groups that may find it valuable and even get fake traffic to it if you want.

Send a bunch of social signals to it as well.

Frankly though, it is hit and miss when it comes to Huff Post now, and more miss than hit but for a few dollars you can give the above a shot. I would not spend too much though as that can end up throwing good money after bad.

Thanks wise guy, now I am happy you got fucked over.
P.S. Just because something is in "perfect English" it doesn't mean its good article.
P.P.S. He said he will deliver article on HuffPo, you never asked for indexed article when you were closing the deal, so I guess I was wrong when I said you got fucked over, you got what you paid for.

Has the article generated any traffic or any responses from the readership?
