Hello there :)

Well have been trying to overtake one niche and all was great. I took one niche and wrote a nice squidoo page about it. Then I wrote 4 hubpages related to it and linked them to squidoo. I also added squidoo to delicious and digg and also did the same to hubpages. Yesterday voila my hubpages dominated smaller niches and all seamed to work, but today - blam non of my hubpage sites and also squidoo are in index.

Why is that? What went wrong? Hubpages werent writen so baddly, they had some real meaning and content. Was the problem that I wrote hubpage articles from one username so they cross linked each other? I mean 4 links a day is not too much??

Or is this normal according to google serp? How can I check what has happened? BTW - yesterday for a while google serp did not show my sites indexed, although I saw them there before and after a while i saw it back in index? Some google dance or what?

I can't help you with Hubpages . . .

But Sqidoo is different. Time is a great healer and I do suggest you allow a couple of days and then see what the position is.

I guess you are in this for the long haul . . . so try to allow minor short term fluctations.

Be seeing you.

This happened to me before too but I don't know exactly why. They reappeared on it's own in a couple of days so just give it a little more time. I'm sure they will show up in the index again.

happens all the time with all sites..... sometimes they just go and then come back.... its called the google sandbox if im completely correct

I suggest submitting all your rss feeds to a couple of different aggregators.

Like feedage.

It will get you back up and on top in no time.

Make sure to use your hub rss and a few tag rss feeds, but don't over do it.

I think its cause you crossed your links and left behind a foot print. This is not always bad, but with hubpages and squidoo it can be. Google is aware that many people are spamming these sites, and if you cross links under the same user name, then you kind of send up a red flag. When using those social bookmarking sites its best to add in 4 random url's from other non related sites. Do this for every 1 of your own url's, then it should cover up and hide most of your tracks.

Hmm, strangely I havent been able to get back. You were talking about rss feeds and I would like to know how to exactly use them :) I havent ever completely understood the charm of it and where and how to use it :)
And why rss feeds are good?
Any help?

Btw - I made another squidoo page and another hubpage (unique content both) and i can see that hubpage is indexed already, but how long does squidoo take ( i made a new account and the lens has been up for about 4 days i belive, but not indexed yet :) )

And one more question - is it any good, to great many hubs from one account (related) and they then link to eachother, will it do any good or not? Is it worth`? Should I great my own users group, for example ten users, comment eachothers hubs and etc? Or what? :) Sorry for such noob questions, but hubpage and squidoo are relatively new and im trying to get the hang of it :)

make some random pages, I usually add yahoo and msn stuff in there.

don't use same usernames too often.

don't do an overnight linking spree.

don't use spun articles in all of them.

avoid interlinking.

For your Hubpages:

1) Find established "Hot Hubs" in your niche that are already ranking well on the search engines.

2) Copy all of the tags that these hubs use.

3) Paste all these tags onto your own personal hub.

This will allow you to leech traffic for months to come from these already established Hubs.

I made 5 hubs following this trick in one of my niches and have made some serious money from them since September.

I can usually get a Hub Page indexed anywhere from 5 mins to 3 hours.

I take my rss feeds and add them to sites like feedage and I mean the hub rss and the hub tag rss feeds.

I then book mark at clipmarks and I am usually ranked pretty damn quick. Honestly, I had one hub indexed in under 5 mins.

Remember this, indexing is only half the battle. Its actually probably WAY less than half. Hub pages are good for quick results but for longevity squidoo is 10X better. I know this because I have deeply tested both. And Interlinking is ok, it just takes time. You need to gather a little patience. I know interlinking is ok thats practically all I do on some lens.
